Together we have much to unravel after years of capricious and volatile abuse. To complicate matters we have a multitude of irreconcilable theoretical and political dissimilarities between us as variant people. Wherever this leads, it will not be easy, brief, or final; we must accept that now, at the outset. But let us refuse to crumble at the dawn of possibility – as so many unrefined movements have – lost within insular differences or hasty variances entrenched in deeply nuanced philosophical divisions. Let us neither resign ourselves to the peculiar middle-of-the-road position of Spartan reasoning, deaf inaction, functionless verbiage, or worse, apathy.
There are especially important obstacles which mustn’t rashly partition a common cause. They must instead be discussed with great erudition and toiled over studiously, reflectively, carefully. For the time being, let us accept the mutually familiar impulse that brings us together at a neutral gathering point: Each of us has voluntarily and peacefully removed our consent from the tyranny of plutocratic rule. If we later, as is almost guaranteed, fall into the fray of complex political, ethical and social ethos, let us maintain the ability to pause and remember the moment when we arrived together in unison against an exceedingly common enemy. Where we stand today is a jumping-off point, not a destination. We may not fall as one, but we must jump together.
