On this day, I'm proud that OWS has managed to sway the world with its passion.
Yet, our work is not done.
Today, Gladstone, a writer for Cracked.com, has published an article that provided three points of constructive criticism for this movement.
One of those points is protesting where the laws are made.
It would a great move to have as many Occupy protesters from around the US to converge on Washington, DC to bolster the existing "Occupy DC" movement to change the policies that need to be changed.
However, we must have our priorities straight before we do so. We can't just ask them to punish the perps, we must say how and it must be reasonable. We also must restrain ourselves from tacking on tangentially related issues like drugs or foreign affairs, those we can settle another time.
PS: I wish I could join, but I've got college. If something like this springs up again, I'll be there with you next time. Well, those of you closest to my home. :)
