You, You are the ones. The people who demand the preservation of freedom, that will tolerate nothing but freedom. How my heart bursts with love for every one of you. I say this not to flatter but because how I am simply overflowing with pride in my country, rather the people in my country. How I wish I could be there with you, standing by your side. How my legs ache to carry me the distance, how my mind screams at me to move. You restore my idea of America, of the land of opportunity, where everyone has the ability to obtain anything they set their minds' to. Oh my freedom fighters, how you exemplify what it means to be an American; constantly fighting, persistant even in the face of violence and over bearing brutality. You are a rock on which to rest a foundation, a foundation that can withstand corruption and greed. You are a wall, capable of keeping out evil while safeguarding liberty and justice. You are the lion, when you roar you shake the very structure of the land you occupy. My friends, nay my family the lot of you, my heart is with you always my prayers always around you. My fellow Americans, though it is not blood that binds us, it is the single idea, the idea that we have choices, that ties you to me, and ideas never die, ideas are immortal, and forever you will be immortal. I love you all, so very dearly. -Yours M. Nelson
