Approximate number of characters permitted in a post = 1200.

When a post is too long, rather than helpfully telling the user in a popup message what is the maximum number of characters that is permitted, the forum creator chose to call the user a jerk in the popup message. The purpose of this post is to determine approximately how many characters is permitted. I start with 1200 characters, which I already know is too long, and each time the post is rejected I decrease the length of the post by 100 characters until it gets posted. The rest of this message is simply filled in with the letter a, which I will delete 100 each time I post.

This is BeyondPlutocracy commenting on my own post. I confused word count with character count in my initial post. Disregard my 1200 character count.
