Hey all. Seems like day after day the detractors and trolls are telling us we should be trying to stage a massive, "Million man March" on DC. While I agree it would be an impressive site, I have to ask, what would the advantage be?

Smaller encampments and protests nation-wide, being brutally assaulted by police, have kept this movement in the forefront of the newscycle for almost 2 months. No single day of protest can equal that kind of prolonged public exposure.

Oh, and with less than a week's notice, and no promotional budget, Occupy Oakland got 50,000+ people to march on the nations 5th largest ports and shut it down for 12 hours. How's that for mass movement?

not just a march. An encampment the size of which would be unparalleled. At the Anacostia Park, the site of the Bonus March camp of 1932.
