Forum Post: Tip the Pyramid - National Info Campaign for Gov and Bank Employees

THE IDEA After interactions with two very concerned and kind people in the base ranks of banking and government, I believe it is CRUCIAL to educate gov and bank employees from the base of the Pyramid up - to ask them for input on how they feel they may continue to help people in an amended system. We will never reach critical mass and solidarity unless we appreciate and educate the hearts and minds on the inside of the corrupt systems that need to change. I would like to help organize a campaign to educate and reach out to those within corrupt banking and gov systems - from the base up!! To throw it all away and start from scratch would be redundant rather than at least asking for input.

THE REASONS 1 - Gov employees are under contract not to view classified info, even available to the public. This means they are not allowed to look at Wikileaks or leaked info on the news. They therefore have the least amount of access to this information and the most consequences for it.

2 - Many bank and government employees at mid and lower levels believe they can and are doing "good" for people at times, but at times they are ignorant of the corruption in their system, and reject info when they feel they are being attacked.

3 - Many bank and gov employees are afraid to let go of what they have worked for and afraid innocent people will starve or be destabilized. Often they are unaware of other issues and policies that contributes to our continued and escalating dependence on this system, e.g Monsanto's control of the food supply, and do not understand that it is now or never to PREVENT innocent death and suffering.

4 - A concern of bank and gov. employees is that the new world we are trying to create will have no place for them. They already feel alienated, and need to have some options for their future. How can we adress together the new industry to replace the old?

5- We can use the good ideas that some government and bank employees have to help create an amended system. We should be inclusive and ask for and consider their input. To throw it all away and start from scratch would be redundant rather than at least asking for input and to not address their concerns is imbalanced. Let's invite them!!

PLAN 1 - Collect information specific to major banks and levels of government dealing with corruption. Also collect information on destabilizing corporate practices such as World Bank Practices, food and resource exploitation, and human exploitation for profit.

2 - Condense and organize this information in a concise way that focuses on few powerful examples, and appeals to these employees. I would like to avoid the one page flyer format, but have a short, but well-designed proposal for face to face communication, with an identical electronic copy available online. Currently trying to engage Adbusters to help with this step.

3 - Prepare a public forum for gov and bank employees to communicate anonymously and leave feedback.

4 - Disseminate information in the most personal way possible - hopefully face to face. Ideally, I believe that we should ask for interested parties across the US and the globe to volunteer and self-organize by location, and then offer some short reminders and communication tips in the spirit of Marshall Rosenbergs "Non-violent Communication". It is very important that this info is delivered with empathy and understanding, even when met with resistance.

5 - Collect feedback with a public or anonymous option via email, phone, or forum Post feedback online. Also interested in collaborating with students, teachers, press, or other interested parties to read and organize and report on the incoming info.
