Due to the major increase in police brutality, we need to start applying pressure in order to stop more incandescence like the ones in Oakland and NYC from happening. Believe it or not its easy to do and there is nothing any one can do to stop us from doing so.
Start circulating a petition demanding the chief of police in both Oakland and NYC step down on the grounds of misconduct. We already have enough evidence to support our case. Just present the videos and photos already on the internet and news reports of these incidences as evidence. Have every Occupy group do this in person and create section on this website where people can see the the videos and pictures we have and have a online petition on for them to sign. Twitter and face book the hell out of the link
If both the mayor of NY and Oakland try to stop us from doing so, we can also turn right around and petition for there dismissal on the grounds of misconduct.
Or we could go get a pizza, I think both plans would be equally effective.
P.S. The Cheese Board is delicious, Blondie's is too. Both are over in Berkeley.
This is retarded. You don't ask the chief of police to step down because of the atrocious behavior of a few bad officers. What needs to be done is have the police who committed criminal acts prosecuted, in particular the psycho cop who fired act ear gas canister at Scott Olsen's head and his colleague who tossed another one to disperse those trying to help him. You can't pin those actions on the police chief, that's substititional revenge which is irrational and makes no sense, and isn't that different from the police officer who fired a gas cannister at Sott Olsen because other protesters were hurling objects.
