Forum Post: Time to re-focus on this forum

Many of us (including myself) spend a lot of time responding to trolls, naysayers, and other negative surly people. It really is a waste of time. Maybe its time to start ignoring those posters and start concentrating on developing posts that actually focus on the issues.

Fully agreed, but they are the ones running their post to the top of the forum so that the real messages cannot be heard. Davidhttp://occupywallst.org/forum/a-message-to-the-occupy-wall-street-website/

We run them up also every time we respond.

Consider putting the following reminder below your posts and comments.

Reminder: do not respond to the Trolls, naysayers and surly types.

Direct the trustees of the trust funds being held By the Unites States et al to instruct the people how to access their own trust funds. This will accomplish 2 things 1) the people will be free to access their funds enabling them to purchase the things they need to live and continue working. 2) It will immediately cease the access to credit the international bankers so desperately need to survive and run their operations, ie: no more wars, and no more people getting screwed out of their hard working labor.

The world would like to see war end. Unfortunately that will never happen while humans occupy earth. It is human nature to get rid of something that they do not understand or are afraid of and don’t forget wanting something someone else possesses.

I think if you want to bring back jobs to the United States we need to as a country do our fair share. If we eliminate the federal income tax and in place put a flat tax of ten percent it will make everyone pay their fair share from the business man to the young adult starting his or her first job. If you look at the tax rate for filing single (25% from $34,000 to $82,400) and the corporate tax rate is thirty-five percent; you can see that a the corporate rate is higher (Highest Corporate Tax in the World). This makes employers send our jobs overseas for cheaper labour. A flat tax will squash all loop wholes and again... make everyone pay an equal share for their freedom and rights that is given to them (One percent of the US population pays for freedom).

There is a lot of talk about equality but, making someone pay a higher rate because they make more money, is insanity. The problem is the loop wholes and high tax rates. If we drop the rate to 10% it is cheaper for all and will create the jobs that our country needs so desperately right now.

Keep up the good work 99%er's and let freedom ring.

Regards,

Mike Layne

we dont need more jobs, we just need a more equitable division of the workload needed for society to function. there are way more people on this planet than jobs that NEED to be done... Also with more automation we will NEED less and less jobs.

Yes, I know it is rough to actually have to defend your beliefs outside of your group think friends. If you want to claim you are the 99% then you damn well better be able to respond to the 99% here. Because in reality, you DON'T represent me. Nor do you represent 99% of the 99%. Until you drop that BS, then you get them here challenging you.

Really? Because I was going to say the exact same things about the protests on Wall Street, who are nothing by trolls, naysayers, and other negative surly people. It's really a waste of time. Maybe it's time for protestors to stop being IGNORANT, and start concentrating on developing thoughts and ideas that make any sort of sense.
