Three inevitabilities of civil society.
- The generality and parsimony of its law is in direct proportion to the civility of its people. or inversely stated: 1.a. The specificity and complexity of its law is in direct proportion to the villainy of its people.
- No government will be fairer, kinder, or gentler than are its citizenry
- Any form of government can be abused for the benefit of the few when the many seek to evade it. Therefore, as has been said before, reform ourselves first, then be prepared to reform our civil society again and again.
