Please, EVERYBODY, GO to DC... ASAP It looks like Obama WILL SIGN the [TREASONOUS] NDAA 1031 Citizen Imprisonment Law very soon. Senator Carl Levin said Obama admin had them REMOVE the language that protected legal US citizens so his veto-threat is more BS.
** 93% Senate passed, SUPERMAJORITY, veto does not matter

STOP THIS BILL!!! see video of Sen. Levin and more on this TREASONOUS BILL http://saynotocorporateamerica.blogspot.com/2011/12/proof-obama-will-sign-ndaa-1031-citizen.html

Pretty soon all Occupiers will be classified as rebels and terrorists and detained indefinitely.

OCCUPY Our Rights!!! Socrates, It's not right, but you are. Heck, we probably are already. I think military involvement was part of the agenda all along, but its sudden arrival sure seems to be in response to OWS. 'We the People' are not terrorists because WE peacefully speak up, but we are a threat to a GOV that doesn't want The People to know the TRUTH... Government officials that work for and protect the corrupt 1% are the ones that are a threat to this nation! They will do anything to shut down any People's movement they didn't create or can not co-opt.

The Closing of America is very real and GOV Inc is taking serious steps in this bill. Stopping it will not return Liberty lost because the traitorous Patriot Act in still in affect but WE MUST STOP IT.

Anyone and everyone that can get to DC, GO NOW! WE are MANY. They are few! Unity is our strength and they fear it, so UNITE!

Just a correction to the timeline, 12 of us were arrested Wednesday night on the Supreme Court steps. We were released around 7pm EST Thursday with wonderful people waiting for us bearing hugs, snacks, and cigarettes. Over the night and into the next day of jail and processing, several officers expressed support for the movement which was extremely uplifting through a mostly mundane ordeal.

Is there a video that shows the number of protesters that were there? The one above only shows like 10 people but I bet there were more?

Want to send supplies, could folks please vote up or else email me their contact? See copy/paste of my earlier post:

" #occupydcneeds blankets, coats, socks, gloves, "

Are you separate from October2011.org? What's the address? I sent three supply boxes, two to Occupy NYC, which arrived, and a third one to October2011.org at the exact "care of Code Pink" address they gave but it was returned..as not picked up..I spoke with a woman at Code Pink and she was sorry and explained they are "unmanned, or unwomaned" some of the time,...so that package is at my house..if you are a different org or have a different address, I have the still-sealed box with gloves handwarmers, one blanket I think, etc, at home I'll be happy to spend antoehr 12 dollars to send it so long as this time it is likely to be delivered right... contact me at econdemocracy [sic] at gmail dot com

[-] 1 points by econdemocracy (41) 2 years ago

Ok, looks like this is the address:

Occupy DC PO BOX 34796 Washington, DC 20043

can you promise, or, can someone who has used USPS, confirm please, that unlike the october2011.org address, this WILL be picked up? Don't want to let another $12 shipping go down the drain (see above)..

This is the way to do it.

Eff with our nonviolent, Nine Principles from the Civil Rights Movement, not-really-bothering-anybody, anti-bankster-crime, Occupy DC Street Theater, tents-in-the-frapping-winter camp site... ???

Then we'll eff with your effin K Street !!

Love it.

Btw: hypothermia is indeed no joke. We had one loon at Zuccotti present with a 90-degree Fahrenheit core temperature. Refused medical care.

Thankfully warm soup saved his butt.

If he'd have been one of our four diabetics, then curtains. Diabetes plus hypothermia = corpse.

Commitment to Nonviolence is the broad gateway. Nonviolence is the fulcrum. Discipline is the lever. Here is the core message from Dr. King as he translated the ideas of Mahatma Gandhi:

Pledge For Nonviolence

  1. As you prepare for Occupy Wall Street, open yourself to life, love and the blessings of faith, hope, and charity.
  2. Refrain from violence of fist, tongue and heart.
  3. Walk and talk in the manner of love; for truth and love are the core of life, neither ambition nor the temptations of control.
  4. Sacrifice personal wishes that all might be free.
  5. Observe with friends, with false friends and with your foes the ordinary rules of courtesy.
  6. Perform regular service for others and the world.
  7. Pray or simply ask within to be moved so that all men and women might be free.
  8. Remember that nonviolence seeks Justice and Reconciliation – not victory.
  9. Strive to be in good spirits and in good health. We are the 99% and we must go in peace.

This works perfectly well with sensible policemen.

Agent provocateur "provo” incited riots at Air and Space Museum, August 8th, and at Oakland have been the worst of it. These were attempts using on-the-payroll thugs to separate Occupy from nonviolence. Nonviolence, first, combined with love. That is the way Occupy can achieve Justice. That is also how Occupy can achieve Reconciliation with citizens such as the Tea Party people who have been misled into accepting the trillion dollar fraud schemes of Wall Street's gangsters.

Isn't it ironic that the people (whose sovereign right it is to create credit, and have delegated corporations this right - in trust, to manage diligently) must find a budget (to be approved by politicians- financed by bankers) to pay an army to go after the bankers.

Bankers use the power to create credit WE gave them, to hire the best and brightest and most experienced legal minds in the nation to oppose the people, who wish to prosecute malfeasance, against the peoples TRUST. Bankers do this at no cost to themselves, simply by the expedient of honoring their own check.

Giving the power to create credit to private corporations was justified by the fear that politicians would, abuse our trust. I have no doubt, politicians would abuse our trust, but am now faced with the criminal behaviour of those we had hoped, could be trusted. We must apply at new paradigm. I believe and suggest "the power to create credit" must be taken back by us, the people. To be called Democratic Credit, it shall be a right alongside "right to life, justice, health, religion, education, .."

Let us put together a Charter that will allow people, and not corporations or shareholders to own banks, but individual "depositors"

Let the power to create be in service to the people to meet all our basic needs such as health, education, shelter, work. Let us build our communities and finally let the nation come to me, in the most democratic form off all, to ask me for the finance to deliver services that I think are necessary.

Do the 'Chartered Banks of the People" wish to finance an undeclared war in a foreign country that is not a security threat, but has valuable oil reserves. NO

Does the "Chartered Banks of the People" wish to finance alternative energy programmes, projects that will create millions of jobs for its people that will provide security, stabilize its currency against foreign reserve depletion, and avoid the deaths of its young men. YES

It does not require the destruction of one system for another; it does not require the risky change back to the "gold reserve standard" advocated by the next likely President of the United States, Ron Lawl. (How will the Banksters deal with him?)

All it requires is enough honest individuals to get together to for the first Chartered Bank of America, apply honest regulation, and LOBBY the people of America to give you a " Commercial Bank Trading Licence", currently only issued by the FED, a private consortium of bankers who control the "power to create credit" for the United States of America, the most powerful empire the world has seen in all history. The power to create credit, the most powerful force on the planet, a power if diligently applied and directed, can mitigate the damage we as a species is causing it and ourselves.

We do not need to battle the incredibly entrenched forces, but simply offer a humane alternative to ourselves. The time is now; the voice is the Occupy Movement - Worldwide Peace Ian

More protests rely on Verizon 4G than on any other network. Next time you feel like staging a protest, why not go with Verizon 4G? = D

Because the Verizon Corporation abuses its workers
