Forum Post: This Isn't A 60s Themed Dance Party!

There seems to be some young people in the movement who are less interested in any serious political agenda than in getting the TV cameras trained on them and/or roll playing hippies at Woodstock '69 or Golden Gate Park '67.

In my opinion, any protester who is wearing a 60's era 'costume' complete with tambourine and psychedelic 60s 'dance' is here for shallow reasons. They see this as a Woodstock reenactment, or a place to be seen, or a tourist attraction, or an opportunity to participate in a live action 60s roll playing simulation, and so forth. It make the movement look stupid.
