What? Canadian influence?

[-] 1 points by laffingrass (362) from Normal, IL 13 years ago

Yes...?

[-] -1 points by RexDiamond (585) from Idabel, OK 13 years ago

funded by George Soros who has utilized a group of actors from Phoenix, Arizona to stage protest events. This was to attract the useful idiots. No wonder there is no one leader or one simple message. This is to create chaos and disorder.

The liberals have been pretty busy since their last defeat. It will not prove successful. The conservative base is too large and organized to be phased by this. It's interesting. I will give you that. How anyone could devote this much time and manpower to create something doomed for failure is beyond me.

This isn't about liberalism at all. It calls for less government intrusion.

yeah but I worry that Rex has some truth in it. First, theres too much organization to be truly 'leaderless'. who calls for the strikes, who calls for the marches? someone faceless is leading. Thats kind of scary. Second, do you remember the stupid Attackwatch? Its like they went 'oh well, that won't work. we might have to create martial law to close voting then'. I do think the current white house administration will do ANYTHING to stay in power. And maybe the republicans would do ANYTHING too, its getting that bad. So I think at some level, there are enough people in OWS like me who believe that the corruption is so bad that we are doing the right thing ANYWAY, even if some puppet guy first pulled the OWS string for Obama. So I keep saying, keep it non-violent, but keep working the message.

This is about hiring actors from Phoenix to stage fake protests, lying to the American public. Making people believe something that is false. Why? Because you people think you are smarter than the average American. You think people are too stupid to make their own decisions. So you devise a plan to make the decisions for them. It truly takes someone stupid to have that view of themselves.

That is no better than the bankers on Wall Street. I hate to break it to you, but the revolution is all in your head. You haven't even scratched the surface when it comes to the majority getting on board.

Movements based in lies will fail in a miserable death.

[-] 1 points by laffingrass (362) from Normal, IL 13 years ago

Proof of these "actors"?

As far as being smarter than the average American, I am. Then again, it doesn't take much to accomplish that.

[-] 0 points by RexDiamond (585) from Idabel, OK 13 years ago

You are not smarter than the average American. You do not have a lock on intelligence in the gene pool. That's one of the lefts funniest misconceptions about themselves. America is home to some of the smartest people on the planet - as seen by all the contributions we have made to the World

This guy explains it pretty well. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RabCAUl73zc

It's right out of the Communist Manifesto. This is a historic time in our history. We are actually alive to witness a communist organization attempt to take control of our country. They will fail, but it is something we will be talking about for generations to come.

[-] 0 points by RexDiamond (585) from Idabel, OK 13 years ago

It's no wackier than what we have seen in the last couple months. Not even close. Your meds can be bought in one of the protest crowds.

[-] 1 points by moediggity (646) from Houston, TX 13 years ago

I think that its you that needs to go down there then and get your script refilled then! but hurry, you don't know when soros and his communists are going to start taking over america so we don't know how long your prozac will be out on the market, what with michael moore as king.

I wonder what tactics he and OWS will try to overcome his low approval. More fake votes I would bet.

No it's in Canada. I believe Toronto. How convenient. 2012 cannot get here quick enough. If the communists want this country, they are going to have to fight us for it.

you guys are fkn tards. the people that started this are not going to be the ones finishing it. we will. i am a pro-capitalism liberal. and if you ask most people questions about individual issues, they are too. so are you. you guna leave grandma out to pasture? of course the fk not. but that is a liberal concept. most of you have no idea what liberal even is. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liberalism and the only nuts on here proclaiming socialism and pretending to be socialist are you guys trying to defame us and that lunatic zeitgeist dude. most of ows also wants less gov spending. the problem is you guys see a black president and a couple of hippies and you freak the fk out. the mans grandfather fought for this country, and you're an ass for disrespecting that. http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-502443_162-4127479-502443.html

[-] 0 points by RexDiamond (585) from Idabel, OK 13 years ago

Agreed. I also don't see it being successful. The liberals have tried just about everything under the sun to stop the impending conservative landslide. We are a conservative country. We always have been. They aren't taking this from us.

This movement is nothing more than Obama supporters engaging in groupthink and stifling decent

[-] 2 points by nichole (525) 13 years ago

No, actually OWS protesters are most afraid that the democratic party will co-opt our efforts in President Obama's re-election bid and neutralize a Movement that shows great promise to deliver "Hope and Change."
