Hello,

My name is Jordan. I wish to share with you some of the documentaries I have watched recently that have caused me to believe that these protests are necessary for our civilization and our planet.

http://www.theotherschoolofeconomics.org/?p=2499 This link is to a site that streams "Inside Job". This documentary is about what this movement is about.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H0ibsoqjPac This is a link to a documentary about Dr. Burzynski, a cancer doctor who has developed a non-toxic treatment for cancer with an extraordinary success rate compered to Chemo/ Radiation therapy.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=19eBAfUFK3E This is a link to a documentary called "Earthlings". It is about how we humans treat the other earthlings of our planet. (Be Warned: This is graphic).

http://www.hulu.com/watch/192680/tapped This is a documentary called "Tapped". It is about the corporations that produce and distribute bottled water.

These 4 documentaries together have completely changed the way I view our current world. While they are about different subjects they have one consistent theme, the greed and evil we humans have allowed to infiltrate our governments and its regulatory systems is very widespread and deeply ingrained.

While I realize they may have a little bias, or contain graphic cruelty, they still contain a ton of truth. Ignoring truth is accepting ignorance and I am pretty sure most people here are done with ignorance. Please share them with friends and family.

I want to encourage all you to watch these documentaries (If you already haven't). Together they help paint the bigger picture of why these protests MUST happen. They will strengthen your desire to continue to carry on with this Global Awakening/ Revolution. Major reform of everything will be needed. You will now understand why Occupy (insert city here) is going to be about more than just economic inequality.

I will leave you with 2 famous quotes.

"History always repeats itself" "It is always darkest before the dawn"

Good post, change. I haven't watched the links yet (it's almost 3:00 AM) but have bookmarked it and will watch them this weekend. It is crucial to get this kind of info into the hands and minds of the masses. I may be being too optimistic but I feel an awakening in mankind right now. We are on the crux of something very big in this world, it's a turning point of sorts and for better or worse a huge change of some kind is just around the corner. Let's hope it turns out positive.

Absolutely. I was never one to believe in prophecy, but when you begin to tie all the information together in combination with the recent start and growth of this occupy movement it easy to see that there is big change coming. Which is giving more evidence to support such theories related to the Mayan calender, Nostradamus, etc. None of them say Armageddon specifically, but they all point to major change during this time period. Is this really just a coincidence? Occupy is becoming a global movement...

Agreed. I'm thoroughly convinced it isn't the end of the world like so many of the doom-and-gloom crowd. The Mayan calendar is a prime example. A lot of people point out the calendar ends next year but fail to take into account one of the most fundamental beliefs of the Mayans is that everything is cyclical. The end of one cycle is the beginning of the next. Next year is the end of the OLD world and the beginning of the new. So I remain optimistic. And a bit excited.
