Forum Post: This is a Renaissance

This is an essay I wrote for my Blog. I welcome your thoughts, ideas and constructive criticisms.

This blog is called “This is a renaissance” because the current populist movements around the world are much more than “political” movements. They are political, cultural, and philosophical awakenings that represent the beginning of a new renaissance. That is, if we can get the current pyramid scheme/insider circle-jerk economics that crashed the economy and pilfers billions of dollars out from under us as we speak, and the limp-dicked government system that does nothing about it, out of the way before they eat us all and start selling Occupy tote bags. Before they drive us deep into a dark age where weapons manufacturers and banks no longer need to bribe governments and can do whatever they want, whenever they want. They’re practically there. I don’t know what it is that they want to do, but I would bet this isn’t all fundraising for some kind of biblically phenomenal bake sale. If it is, I doubt we’re invited...
