OVER 2 MILLION PEOPLE have watched the video of this Marine Sargeant / Iraq War Veteran pleading with police.

Gotta watch the FULL interview after the part where he pleads with police. The key is what he says during interview (themes he continued to push during interviews with many major media outlets). He may stumble over his words occasionally but it is this very authenticity that gives his words power. Plus, even more importantly, he hits all the right notes. If we engaged in a drinking game where we did a shot each time this marine / Iraq War veteran said something that would make the 1% quiver, we've be smashed by the end of this very short video :)

Even though OWS is leaderless, it does need it's heroes. Thank you Sergeant Shamar.

Great point. He is a real hero. A citizen in the true sense of the word instead of a consumer of material goods and the corporate mindset.

Totaly agree, and don´t do the drinking game, you might not make it till the end of the video :-)

The fact that he called on other retired military personnel to come out around the nation and around the world to help the protesters is HUGE!!

It really is amazing. He is a brave and sincere man and the movement is so lucky that he's speaking up and patriotically fighting for what he believes in.

you don´t have to watch this, but I found this the best 30 min. spend (and its more or less a summery of all the studies I did over the last few month)

I love him. He is so real. You can just see in the eyes of the police that they are really listening and hearing him.

How could they not?

Everything he says is logical, ethical and on point.

The 1% are going to look so bad when they try to discredit him. And they will try.

Waiting with bated breath.

He has been giving excellent responses in his interviews in major media. The 1% don't know how to counter him :)

I'm very excited to hear Sargeant Shamar speak soon in person.

[-] 1 points by therising (6643) 13 years ago

I read today that 20,000 former marines have formed an occupymarines group to help protect the rights of protesters.

More press today on Sarg. Very big deal that he's hitting the nail on the head.

[-] 1 points by therising (6643) 13 years ago

Sargeant Shamar should speak at Liberty Plaza and at other occupations around the nation.

How the hell can they possibly attack this guy??
