im depressed...have been for a long time...i always ask my self why is it so damn hard to be happy? Ill tell you why. How can i be happy when my brain is raped by the media every day? buy this, buy that, theres tvs in super market store lines, tvs at gas station pumps! WTF! im bombarded with so many options in one day that i cant even think straight half of the time! When i see all the things hollywood says is good or bad every day of my waking life it begins to soak into my head( BRAINWASHING) and sometimes i actually find myself feeling like im not good enough because im not like the person on the tv, i dont have all the evil money they have or the plastic sluts, in the end luckily i still retain my sanity some how but SHIT! the thing is that lately ive been thinking more about people that need help, like those starving, homeless, and dying....why is this happening to these people? why are these governments and banks reaping all the rewards while so many sit back and anticipate there death? DOWN WITH THE FRS! DOWN WITH THE IMF! KILL THE MACHINE!

DAMN STRAIGHT! all the countries in the world need to realize if they did not have the people then they would have NOTHING!

Being well adjusted to a sick system is not a sign of mental health.

Also google the paradox of choice if you have not looked at it before.

[-] 1 points by solraiser (26) 13 years ago

they must find it difficult, those who have taken authority over truth, rather than truth as authority.

[-] 1 points by SamuelAdams (119) 13 years ago

What?

I'm saying those who choose authority over truth have it easier because they aren't looking at from a realistic point of view, they enjoy their comfortable lives in a perpetual ignorance is bliss state of mind. The ones who find it difficult are the ones who see the rampant lies and bullshit that permeate our political system.

its a quote from gerald massey, what it means is that the ones that govern us must find it difficult to keep all there lies up to date and in line. i agree with the things you have said my friend, well spoken.

I understand. I feel the same way sometimes.

[-] 1 points by solraiser (26) 13 years ago

it will get better is what i always hold onto,..i figure as long as i will my self to be better then thats what matters, my whole point of the depression discussion is that if this world was not so imbalanced then maybe so many people would not be as well..already ive gotten light weight negativity and i embrace it because alls it does is enforce my point. ( we are all one)

I think it's good to not get caught up in modern culture. Classical music and non-"Enlightenment" influenced literature keeps me sane.

[-] 1 points by solraiser (26) 13 years ago

nice, classical music is good because its so universal and complicated yet easy to listen to , thats why they are masterpieces, i think i want to start reading more holy books though, only for my ability to understand every religious view point mind you, for i have my own beliefs and stand strong to them.

I believe that Bach and Plato are the key figures for all things good in Western civilization. Those two are a good place to start.

one of good taste indeed, one that seems of good blood and noble spirits! i hope that this world will become more vibrant for souls such as ourselves real soon, and the only way it will happen is from souls so vibrant.

One acronym...NWO. It's not just a theory. This warning from Kennedy sheds a light on it. There is a lot of information out there. Soak it in, use your own decision making abilities. The evidence is all around us, and you just hit on one of the most crucial parts of it.

Here is another vital tool used.....

nice links! im sure you have seen the zeitgiest.

[-] 2 points by SanityScribe (452) 13 years ago

Yes I have thanks.

[-] 1 points by SamuelAdams (119) 13 years ago

Kennedy was talking about communism in that speech btw, not a NWO conspiracy. Skepticism and cynicism are very good tools, I feel they are necessity, but like everything, they must be taken in moderation.

Agenda 21 on the other hand... blatant attempt at a world government.

[-] 2 points by SanityScribe (452) 13 years ago

He was, but the point is..The same people have been orchestrating this for a very long time. Behind the scenes on many fronts.

This president tried to warn us too...Not that you haven't seen it, but for others...

Now there's a video I can get behind, I show the Eisenhower video to everybody.

Agree there are some behind the scenes pulling the strings, but when striving for real change in our system I feel we must acknowledge that our means are just important as our ends, so we must be careful how we present our ideas to avoid being discounted for using speeches such as the Kennedy one which aren't actually talking about this situation.

[-] 2 points by SanityScribe (452) 13 years ago

Point taken. I guess a lot of people wouldn't see some the implications he is making, until you know a bit more about it all.

[-] 1 points by solraiser (26) 13 years ago

most def, thats why i want to mainly speak on behalf of my own personal situation as well as wanting to hear others, because thoses are the real stories that matter, thoses are the people that are living in this moment, the people of our nation, of our world , the ones that must be heard.

[-] 1 points by solraiser (26) 13 years ago

yeah, you gotta be carefull with the vids on the web, there all bs sometimes, but even still many have a true meaning be it good or bad, i hear they call it propaganda :D

[-] 1 points by furight (37) 13 years ago

This is a MEDIA PAID troll.

[-] 1 points by solraiser (26) 13 years ago

if it is then give me some money cause i would like to donate it to the OWS.

[-] 1 points by furight (37) 13 years ago

We both know Fox pays you far more then me.

[-] 1 points by solraiser (26) 13 years ago

i dont watch a lot of tv and for some reason the first thing that registered in my head was metal gear solid if youve ever played..

[-] 1 points by furight (37) 13 years ago

Yes I have. You make a pointless statement because you have no point.

[-] 1 points by solraiser (26) 13 years ago

haha my point is that game lies in my memory more than FOX, because i played the game years ago and i rarely watch tv due to the fact i feel it dis connects me from the true reality of life.

[-] 1 points by furight (37) 13 years ago

We both know you are sooner58...no need to lie.

[-] 1 points by solraiser (26) 13 years ago

huh?....got me on that one...

[-] 1 points by IndenturedNation (118) 13 years ago

I feel like I am getting an imbalance in my brain just by trying to follow the logic in your post. At least you care about stuff though. You're probably a good person at heart. Try Prozac.

[-] 1 points by solraiser (26) 13 years ago

haha..nice...maybe you should get that prozac too then haha

[-] 1 points by Frankie (733) 13 years ago

Nope, it's your brain. lol

[-] 1 points by solraiser (26) 13 years ago

yeah maybe your right, who knows, but that still does not excuse the issue at hand. also i would like to say its people that make comments like that, are the same people that bring humanity down a notch further...if we had more people that actually gave a shit about others then maybe we would not be having these protests in the first place.

[-] 1 points by Frankie (733) 13 years ago

Chill guy. It was a joke. Maybe if people weren't so fricking serious and sensitve about things life would be better all around even in the hard times.

[-] 1 points by solraiser (26) 13 years ago

i can feel you there..its just people sometimes need to be serious i think, to many people in this world have been fuckin off for to long, and i gotta say im one of them..i feel like i dont know any better sometimes and thats the sad part..is this what i went to school for?

[-] 2 points by Frankie (733) 13 years ago

Yeah, you go through highs and lows. For most of us, it could be a whole hell of a lot worse when you look at the things that some others have to deal with. I call myself pretty damn lucky on that basis.

More to life than stuff and money. Maybe spend some time volunteering or doing something to help someone else where you can see the results might help. More rewarding in the long run. You start to figure out stuff like that when you get to be an old dude like me. lol

[-] 1 points by solraiser (26) 13 years ago

agreed. thats kinda where i have found my self as of late, ive quit smoking cigs, try to eat more healthy, have been looking into voluter work , n i look back at my self and im like ( who the hell is this new me?) haha i always had a want to change the world, but with in the last year something changed in me, something big. (we are all one)
