We need to understand that there will be provocaturs. No matter how seriously we commit to non-violence we must be aware that provocaturs will be sent in to discredit, and attempt to destroy OWS. All we can do is be prepared to expose them, and be determined not to let them win with these despicable tactics.
Stay Strong, Stay Peaceful! Move away from violence and report it, keep safe.
Sadly this is true. I think they are already here. No violence no destruction of property and mutual respect for all (yes those that disagree is included here) is what we have to do.
Yes, the truth will out, as long as we don't let it kill our spirit. There is such a thing as truth and justice. If we stick by their light unflinchingly we will win in the long run. Those things are real; more real than this "reality."

The "black bloc" has been an "anarchist protest technique" for awhile. It's fairly well established now that most of them are kids, but they are motivated by "anarchists" who are undercovers and/or informants. Occasionally you'll notice one that isn't skinny and small - those are likely the undercover agents/provocateurs.
HERE is a good example of their propaganda. It's not very compelling, but it appeals to white middle class kids who feel guilty about their privilege.

Yeah, these guys didn't just spring up out of nowhere. There's method in that madness.
I believe it came about in British eco-protest circles in the 90s. It rose to prominence in the US at the WTO protests in Seattle. The media ran footage over and over of kids trashing a Starbucks in downtown. Apparently this resonated with white adolescents who weren't black enough to be gangster rappers... (my opinion)
The regimentation is very similar to military/police tactics. In some analyses you can see movements, gestures, equipment, and shouted commands that are similar to those used in law enforcement.
Video from the G20 Protests in Toronto has been studied and analysed. I can't find a link but there is a good breakdown on youtube somewhere. How could those kids smash up that police car and set it on fire, in broad daylight, on hundreds of video cameras, and get away with it?
