Forum Post: There is no shame in having lost to a superior force. We are Americans too!

It was agreed in conference with city leaders and the park's rightful owners that this protest was not a protest but a group of anarchists and hooligans who were promoting an extreme liberal and socialist agenda.

New York’s rich history is only matched by its bountiful natural beauty and invigorating culture. This state can really shine with brilliant diversity, hearty labor and family or friendly play. Every corner of the state offers another reason to love New York!

The possibility of promoting an 'extreme' liberal and socialist agenda shouldn't enter into it, the job of the Police is law enforcement, not political censorship. What about violating first amendment rights? Freedom of speech?

if Political censorship is evacuating a park, so it can be cleaned, then what political party are they censoring? the "dirty party"?

Everyone knows Political Censorship is the job of CNN. MSNBC,NBC,CBS, and ABC. well, at least it was untill now. It seems they are seeing it more popular to expose the corruption within the democrat party now rather than sweep it under a rug. I do give OWS a lot of credit in this advancement within our society.

I think you are mistaken. and just pissed off .

just my opinion

The evidence was strong that this "protest" was comprised largely of anarchists and socialists. Anarchy will never be tolerated in the state of New York under the current leadership. And socialism is a failed European ideology.

NYPD has a duty to serve and protect law abiding citizens. The department wishes that Occupy Wall Street had not devolved into the pointless lawlessness it became.

The work of the NYPD reaches every corner of the city. Although best known for peacekeeping, conflict prevention and citizen assistance, there are many other ways the NYPD and the city's leaders (specialized agencies, funds and programes) affect lives and make the city a better place.

Gerald Celente is also a New Yorker ........ from the Bronx actually... One of his sayings is " when people have lost everything and they have nothing else to lose, they lose it ".. Let's see who is the " superior force " when that happens shall we? hint - 40 million + nationwide relying solely on food stamps and welfare to survive.

Superior force. Consider those words. Superior-better than others is inequality thus not an American principal. Force-To control and cause others to do what they do not want to. Ego acting out using superiority complex thought patterns and self righteous auto justification through superficial "authority" empowerment. I doubt anybody feels shame for having been compelled to leave by force and threats of violence and arrest. Resentment and inspiration is more likely. City leaders have led nothing but corporate supplication and pampering. Rightful owners were the people before "leaders" sold public property to "private entities"(rich friends). You claim the protesters are anarchists, but the police have committed the only unconstitutional actions. New York as a state, sure. As a city it is in the top three of most crime and most unconstitutional regulations. The home to organized crime at the highest level.

This is just the beginning.
