The first one is called 9500 Liberty by film makers Annabel Park and Eric Byler. It's about immigration and mostly how well-meaning Americans are swayed by bad media to hate a group of people.
The other one is called: 'Hot Coffee'. If you think you know the whole story behind the woman who sued McDonalds because she burnt herself with hot coffee I got 2 words for you,..:"You Don't".
It's about how corporate America is buying politicians to make sure they don't get sued for millions of dollars.
I had to sue the nursing home where my Mother was because she died of smoke inhilation because her room caught on fire due to negligence. There have been laws passed in my state so that no matter how awful the negligence was, wrongful death has a maximum of $300,000. Can you imagine if you had a baby and it died because of negligence by someone that your child's life is only worth $300k? It's rediculous.
Yea, I am waiting for Hot Coffee to arrive on Amazon. Is it available streaming anywhere?
300,000 to someone with billions is like 10 bucks to the average worker.

You can order it here. It's $29.95...That seems a bit high to me. I caught it on HBO.
I just checked,..it will be available on Amazon on Nov 1 for $20.99. You can pre-order now.
It's on Netflix, but not streaming.
You might check a local library.
Thanks, I have Netflix, I'll get it (even tho Amazon says it'll be ready to ship on 11/1)
I agree with items one and 2 but not your commentary below. The commentary simply feeds the monsters that are the 1%ers have become. a fundamental change back to honesty on the part of govt and business is required . We the people are held tightly by law to be honest while politicians and business men are exempt for such honesty and moral conduct. Its not about the money its about doing the job right and properly and not cutting corners to save a buck!
How much is a child's life worth? There needs to be some sort of arbitrary maximum set, because the reality is that a life doesn't have a monetary value...
Statistical Value of Life is $7,000,000.

Thanks for the link
I believe that should be determined by a jury of your peers.
That's not a bad idea.
when i stub my toe on the leg of a table, somewhere, some corporation is liable for this pain/
Well, it might be, depends on the circumstances.
Collapse is best. Michael Rupert is the man
I need to add that I'm sorry for your loss but these documentaries both suck. Don't waste your time. Collapse is incredible as well as 2012Timeforachange. If you want to actually learn something about where the planet and consciousness is heading and walk away with helpful information that you can/share skip the McDonald's flik and check these out.
I haven't seen those, I'll check them out. Thanks for the info.
Time well spent. Again, sorry for your loss
can you post the video links on this page http://www.citicommons.com/learning it embeds them in a social tool so people can watch them from the page
