The war has already started. You just don't see it, because it's no longer fought on the battlefields. It's fought with street crime, protesting and rioting, and paid for with drug shipping and bank crimes.
It's the international World War III, a massive civil war across all of society.
At this rate, my opinion is we will have at least one armed conflict, whether a localized problem or a war, with Iran within 2 years. I also think China won't be far behind within about 8 years. They like doubled their military, and suddenly bought and refurbished a bunch of aircraft carriers? they are definitely up to something.
