Forum Post: The whole point of Democracy is to Separate Monetary Power from Political Power. One Man One Vote

Those who dismiss OWS as Communism are failing to see the point that Democracy is meant to be a separation of Economic and Political Power. Otherwise a corporate state is the inevitable result of power bases colluding; aristocracies rise and societies become stratified unless there is an equalizer embodied by the rule of law. A polity is a group of people who share equal voice power and select administrative courses of action based on that equal footing.
