How did I, a person who joined the anti-communist and therefore 'pro-capitalism' demonstrations against Soviet occupation in 1989's Czechoslovakia, find myself supporting something called the ‘Occupy Movement’, which is often labelled 'Anti-Capitalist'? How did this ‘switch’ happen? Has the world changed or have I?
What the hell is happening over there in the US guys? Who won the Cold War at the end? http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=zhDQkSqii-E
I believe the Velvet Revolution was partly inspired by the Velvet Underground.

Here's your moment of zen.
The Revolution has a new theme song!

The Revolution starts here!
I wish it was dude, however, in East Europe, the Velvet Underground was an illegal band back then and there were only very few people that knew about their existence and they were certainly not waiting for their man ;)
Ah, a Lou Reed fan. Anyways, if you have time, see if you can find a cool VU or Lou Reed song to help motivate people to want to take down Enterprise and Toshiba on this site, it would mean a lot to a lot of people who have been hurt by them.

Thank you for your time. :)
First, that was a really good blog post.
Secondly, did you switch or did you get to witness the two polar opposites in action? OWS is not anti-capitalist.
Thanks:) I did not switch - I'm just too sensitive about any propaganda or its younger and more clever sister called PR. The article is meant to be an illustrations how the two different regimes defend/ed itself ahead of progress by using the same tool of police violence...
