No need to mention the sorry history of republicans and democrats because history itself will never allow us to forget; civil war, slavery and endless discrimination. Two party systems is not a democracy but a country club that do share and alternate power every decade. Again let me site other countries as an example; Brazil 36 political parties, Canada, 22 political parties and France 20 political parties. The United States has two ancient parties that must be dismantling in order to democratize the political system. Let’s diversify the house and congress with many political parties as possible or as many the people do so desire.
Exactly, "new" Government and "new" Business is needed, although I'm all in favor of taking down today's ineffective and inefficient Top 10% Management Group of Business & Government, but there's only one way to do it – by fighting bankers as bankers yourselves. Consequently, I have posted the Strategic Legal Policies, Organizational Operating Structures, and Tactical Investment Procedures necessary to do this at:

The 'two party system' is perfect for this country. Parliamentary-style forms of government tend to work best with multiple parties.
You're right about the 2 party system not working, but your solution would not work. What would work is to abolish the entire partisan system. Having 0 parties would allow people to vote based on the issues and not on political affiliation. FYI there are more than 2 parties in the US.
Why don't we all register as independents and appeal to everyone else to do the same?
There's no point for them to exist. If George Washington is our truest founding father, then it's un-American to belong to a political party.
We have the 'illusion of opposites' which is kept alive by our mainstream corporate media with MSNBC on the left, CNN in the middle and Fox on the right. They are the propaganda mouthpiece for the Military Industrial complex and the Corporatism that is ruling our society today. People continue to CONFUSE this with Capitalism. But Capitalism is when the markets react to supply and demand and Capitalism requires SOUND money. What we have today is Corporatism, Big Corp/Bank in bed with corrupt Govt and a FIAT money system aiding constant Corporate Welfare.
The first step towards doing this is CAMPAIGN FINANCE REFORM! We have to stop the legalized bribery!
Agreed. Campaign Finance Reform and Lobbyists are a big part of the problem.
