TPP Could Have Catastrophic Effects On Canada's Economy http://www.ctvnews.ca/politics/tpp-could-have-catastrophic-effects-on-canada-s-economy-unifor-president-1.2570335
Sounds familiar - same corp(se)oRAT arguments - can't be shut out of the global market place - in actuality meaning = we want to be able to gut domestic manufacturing and get rid of domestic workers so that we can take advantage of slave wage labor in foreign countries that have no environmental pollution restrictions and no worker safety regulations and where we (the corp(se)oRATions) don't have to shell out dime one to manage these hell holes where we will purchase our parts for mere pennies on the dollar.
These corp(se)oRAT entities and their rented/bought government representatives never take into account that they are not only destroying the world we live in (toxic practices) - which should be a major red flag to the idiots = killing ourselves (where is the market place in a dead world?) - but also in denuding the market place of good paying jobs locally they are destroying the marketplace they want (who is gonna buy their crap - if no-one has a job?)
Well said. The more divisions, the better.
Not enough divisions. 12 countries have agreed to TPP. In 90 days Obama signs, then it goes to Congress for debate.

Why TPP Is Over Rated-----

Don't let your guard down just yet people - TPP still needs to be ended.
And on that note - for your consideration (and hopefully your sharing) -

This world needs you to get involved to make the changes that need to be made.
Yes TPP needs to be ended. We have many challenges ahead.
A main challenge - being proactive - and getting proper representation into government from the Local level to the State level and through to the Federal level.
Protesting is not enough all by itself it must go hand in hand with legal action - by the majority of the population.
Is there a mechanism by which, the people can file criminal charges?
A follow-up on my prior comment :
I think that the most open area for public court cases to be brought - is in the civil court - and in finding a good attorney to represent the people - crowd funding might be the way to go to finance a legal challenge - depending on the challenge - if there were reparations sought - those could go to refill the coffer for further challenges as well as be designated to give relief to injured parties (the general public or something more specific).
Depending on your intent - I am sure that there are.
Add your name: Join Daily Kos and Donna Edwards in saying NO to corporate special interests and the TPP.
Done.
Some people ask why so I tweeted one good example: TransCanada sues USA over pipeline Tri-County Sun Times

A small bit of good news on the anti-corp(se)oRATion front:

Excellent. Every bit of progress is monumental.
It's a start - I would love to see progress made on banning fracking.

Good links. Resistance in NZ----- http://www.radionz.co.nz/news/political/284249/tpp-protesters-arrested-in-wellington
A world wide disease - bringing out world wide resistance - needing a world wide cure = representation of the public in government and all of societies institutions. Catering to the wealthy few must end!
This is good--- http://www.radionz.co.nz/news/political/281466/thousands-turn-out-to-protest-tpp
Very good article - goes to show that the public everywhere who know anything about TPP are dead set against the insanity of those who govern and are trying to make TPP happen.
Addressing the root of all problems = greed running rampant

Bernie is enthusiastically received at the DNC summer meeting in Minnesota - stating among other things that the TPP must be defeated and that Keystone also needs to be defeated.

NO = NO
Wonderful----"booted from indigenous territory".
Like us the Canadians have a stink-bomb of a government, so this will be an on going struggle. But the indigenous people will win and Rockefellers will lose.
Canada's government does not totally suck - they "do" have national health care. But - just like the USA and the rest of the world - they are heading towards the septic tank with their catering to corporations and the wealthy few.
Hopefully it stays stalled. http://www.macrobusiness.com.au/2015/08/robb-tpp-trade-deal-unlikely/
