You now have no excuse for not knowing about neoliberalism and its evils:
The Shock Doctrine: An investigation of "disaster capitalism", based on Naomi Klein's proposition that neo-liberal capitalism feeds on natural disasters, war and terror to establish its dominance.
That's a kick-ass documentary, one of the absolute best in explaining the modus operandi of criminal organizations, er, I mean the US government, in controlling world events. It should be required watching. Hell, it should be shown in schools IMO.
Agreed.
It's Class War, Shock Doctrine is the strategy!
What happened to you guys??
This book really helped me distill/crystallize my understanding and views as a liberal. I wish even people who disagree with me would watch/read it, just so we share a common frame of reference...
Of course, they won't...
Thank you. Netflix has it on DVD only.
Avec plaisir, mon frere. Actually it was TLydon007 that shared the link with me...
let's see.. since capitalism is synonymous with consumption... can you suggest what might top those 3 in delivering unanticipated, massive consumption?
You might watch the movie...
