Our so-called "Two-party" system of Republicans and Democrats no longer exists. It has morphed into an exclusive club of millionaires no longer representing the American people, becoming instead enablers of corporate America (def: enable: providing the power and means to encourage dysfunctional behavior) This two-headed monster is constantly fed a generous supply of campaign funds and other “benefits” to ensure their reelection, continuing support and protection of special interests.
The few progressive or dissenting politicians remaining in their den are being weeded out with each new election cycle. They are not attached to the corporate lifeblood (campaign cash) that nourishes “the Republocrats”.
Can this change? Yes, we can! Think third party. We can break this “not two-party” system by refusing to vote for any Democrat or Republican on the ballot, regardless of which is the lesser evil, it is still evil. Do not re-elect any Republocrats or Demopublics, and though we may like our representatives to Congress, we must offer them up as sacrifices.
There are several major third parties in the U.S. Visit their websites and choose a party that would best serve your interests. Support and vote for their candidates in the next election.
Here’s a list of U.S. Third Parties:
• Green Party of the United States
• Libertarian Party
• Reform Party of the United States
• Socialist Party of the U.S.A.
• The American Party
