The Republicans are protecting the corporations from paying their fair share of tax
The Republicans seem to have no problem supporting “Corporate Global Dominance”
Its seems their priorities are not aligned with the people
The Democrats may be the same, but just hide it better
Democrat, or Republican...United we stand, Divided we fall. Political leaders on both sides have failed the people. Let the people stand up and our voice and choice be heard as a collective to benifit the 99% majority, not the 1% minority.
Very eloquent
It would have taken me alot more words to not state the as well as you did
Have you created any forums?
I just signed up here today. Ive posted to the forum under.... This is NOT a Republican or Democrat Issue. Thanks ;)

Does anybody have a problem with China becoming a manufacturing super power
No. I do however have a problem with the way we allow US companies to export our jobs without consequence. In fact, our politicians are busy making it easier for them to do so.
The problem isn't China. The problem is the US government.
Do you think their is any kind of corporate collusion with our government or is it just the way it evolved
I think it evolved that way. It was probably, originally, quite innocent. But it took on it's own life and eventually corrupted and owned our entire system.
It does appear so
Well again, those in the top one percent that have power to send jobs overseas may claim to be Republican but they are nothing like the Republicans in the 99%. Just as those extremely rich Democrats are nothing Like those in the 99%. I don't know any Republicans in my circle that support sending jobs to China. And I know a lot of them. It all goes back to corporate greed and blah blahblah blah, I'm just sick of the whole system. Aren't you? Lets stop throwing fellow 99%ers under the bus and place blame where it is due, rich greedy bastard corporations that have zero morals.
You just read my mind (-:
As a matter of fact I don't know any liberals that are like they are potrayed by the right wing media or conservatives that are like they are portrayed by the lefties
I have friends that have different views or opinions. And never gave any thought to "left or Right"
I personally feel that whole thing was created to divide and distract us. Many people seems to want to make each other the enemy and ignore government and corporate collusion
Well that's exactly what we're taught to do. Because then we will never fix the real problems. Its all just a grand illusion.
Does it seem something like this?
America is now a governmental system led by a shadow board of wealthy corporatists, who have almost complete power through the façade of Democracy and the controlling of the message through ownership of all major media. They subtly suppress opposition and criticism; control all industry, commerce, etc. They emphasize an aggressive nationalism, while demonstrating a lack of patriotism through the systematic transference of jobs into the global domain. They protect their interests through the court systems up to the Supreme Court that bases its decisions on what’s best for the board
Sounds spot on to me. I think some would be tempted to call that a conspiracy theory but they just haven't opened their eyes yet. Imagine where we would be if there was no mainstream media and people's braid we're no longer poisoned. We'd be forced to talk to each other, then things would really get done.
It does seem like a conspiracy theory until you look at it piece by piece. does this seem valid
“The New World Order” Global Fascism /Corporate world order is a much improved and user friendly version than the original single country Fascism
The new version is called “New World Order”
Pros
• You don’t have to convert your country’s form of government anymore to get Fascism on board. Version 2.0 (Corporatism) will run right on top of capitalism flawlessly and invisibly.
• Violent suppression is no longer required. With the new media ownership comes the ability to shape opinions, create villains and demons, and use fear to motivate war, voting bias, and division of the masses. You will be able to convince most citizens that all problems are related to those who oppose you reaching your goals
• The cost of the upgrade will be paid for by tax breaks and loop holes and a very high percentage of the citizens will think that is a fair deal and will vote for politicians who openly protect your interest.
• The best feature of the Fascism 2.0 is how resilient and indestructible it is. The fact that it is invisible is without a doubt the best feature of Corporatism/fascism2.0
Cons
• 2.0 like the original Fascism is still susceptible to “uprising” virus. But thanks to the new media controls that is easily suppressed by demonizing, demoralizing, denial of a problem or motive, not reporting etc.
• There’s one potential problem: There is one thing that leads to what we call system self-destruct. It is the greed virus. There will never be a problem as long as a greed virus does not develop. When the greed virus creeps in, it triggers the occupation virus, which will create system awareness. This will cause 2.0 to lose it’s transparency and become very opaque. The next thing that happens is internal alienation. At that point the system crashes and will require reloading. It is very likely the system will not allow 2.0 to reload on top of it because of the damage it caused
• Disclaimer: If the 2.0 crashes because the greed virus was allowed to begin the destruction of the system, you warrantee is void
I like it. You should start a new post with this. Its right on. Post Bach here if you do so I can find it
I'll will notify you If an when I start a forum with it
Obama endorsed and signed this job killing so called free trade agreement, Obama continues to support the destruction of america with these unbalanced and unfair trade agreements.
It does seem like he is on board with the "Corporate Global Dominance" people
[Removed]
Does getting screwed by a Democrat feel that much better than by a Republican? Did Obama use lube on the American people?
Of course! I'm not gay, but If I were to go gay, I'd go gay for Barack.
Over 55 percent of all goods are made in China. The US policy on China trade goes back to Nixon and has been affirmed by every President to this day. China is no longer a communist nation, but it is a dictatorship that operates a controlled capitalistic society. We in the USA have not adapted our tax code and trade policies to deal with the impact China has and will have on our economy and sovereignty.
That's true. I think we are dealing with the "we" that sold us out with this protest
Of course, they don't care about jobs and the standard of living of americans. They want the corporations to have as much money as possible so they can contribute to their campaigns.
So they are part of the problem in your mind?
Sorry I was just pretending to be a troll
Fuck Retardicunts and Dumbicunts.
It that order? (-:
And particular positions
Yes that order. I'll go through the kama sutra.
What! by yourself? I am thinking some prisoners might be more appropriate
Good point.
That's a lot of blaming, Don't you think maybe the Democrats are about the same
Sometimes I think it is just a big act. Nothing ever changes
I absolutley do. No matter who is in charge the only thing that gets chaged is some goofy social shit
http://economyincrisis.org/node?page=2
Looks like he's on board with the sellout!
Dems and Republicans dance for the same puppet masters
we should send some of you people to China. You'd like it there. Of course, they wouldn't like you much.
Great idea, we could buy American products cheaper and chant "buy Chinese" keep the country strong
republicans vote yes on jobs bill
What jobs bill are you refering too
I have asked countless time on blogs, What is the Republican plan for jobs. Nobody ever replies.
I guess you are going to tell me
by the way this was't really meant to beat up Republicans only. I know the Democrats do the same thing differently
The people (us) demand cheaper products, therefore, our government is going to support off shoring to keep prices down for our capitalistic society. If prices rise, we purchase less. Now, that would probably be a good thing for most people who live above their means anyway.
With all due respect, the people like paying the least they can.
The cheap products are the symptom not problem.
Most product can be manufactured and sold in this country very competitively
Most manufacturing is being done by robotic and assembly line
the auto industry is a perfect example
My opinion is we are being sold out by pure greed. If you can prove me wrong I would appreciate the enlightenment
Greed is what Capitalism is based upon, so - no I can't prove you wrong. I guess to your point, if corporations were willing to take less margin to manufacture or in-source we could still have our products at lower prices. Good point, if that's what you intended. Until CEO's and the like are paid to, and get their stock and bonuses for 'doing the right thing for the greater good', it is never going to happen, however. Corporations job is to maximize profit and they do so at the expense of others. CEO's get paid for this. Our CEO told us he can get 3 programmers in India for the price 1 programmer in the states. He's maximizing company spend so he can drive higher margin. What choice would you make in that scenario? Are you sure?
It would be an easy choice for me if you are making a fair profit and the stockholders get a decent return on the investment I wouldn't sell out. Of course I would probably be fired (for a phony reason by the board) because their goal is also greed driven.
I remember when corporations starting outsourcing to Japan. The reason given was that labor here was too expensive (those demon unions) and (lazy Americans) they had to outsource to survive. Today that might be somewhat true, because of their first lie and propaganda. Most of the corporations had no competition outside this country they outsourced because of greed
The government consistently enables out outsourcing (both parties)
See if this has a ring of truth to it
America is now a governmental system led by a shadow board of wealthy corporatists, who have almost complete power through the façade of Democracy and the controlling of the message through ownership of all major media.
I don't disagree with you ;-)
Unchecked Capitalism will be the downfall of us all.
What is really needed "is what the propaganda machine has been telling us is one of the major things that is causing the problem"
Regulation, how many times have you heard that reguatoin is a demon
Of course they don't want regulation, it would keep them in check
Left and Right wing folks only see it from their extremes. Yea, there has to be a happy medium somewhere. With a 2 party system we'll never get there.
I think the faux “regulation debate” is just another tool to divide us
Regulations are nothing but rules and laws. Without them we would live in chaos
It should be obvious to everyone that regulation is good and long as it serves a function for the common good. Stop lights, Monopoly’s, utility price gouging etc pollution etc. But half the population have arrived at the view that Regulations are demonic The same goes with taxes, gay rights, abortion etc.,They are used as tools to divide us
In my opinion they are all used to make us think the person that don’t agree with us is the enemy. When in fact we have a common enemy which is creating the illusion I really don’t think it matters who the president is. I am beginning to think all presidents serve a higher authority.
Naw, they are puppets. They have no real power. I just watched this: http://www.vimeo.com/25142692 - holy SHIT is all I have to say
I just am watching this now. I think it serves to prove just what we have been talking about
There is so much evidence coming to the service It's mind blowing
Check this link (it's a forum here) out this guy has a lot of insight he is from another country. If you like it be sure and comment to push to the foreground so others can see it.

Hmmm...I seem to remember Clinton as the one who signed NAFTA into law.
Some of it started even earlier, but the most egregious were Reagan,Bush,Clinton,Bush2.0 and now Obama. We shoulda voted for Kuinich.
Yeah it looks like he was on board with corporate globalization big time.
Did a great job of fooling everybody, Like Obama is doing
My wife lost her job as a direct result of NAFTA. She is a white female and applied for the retraining provided by the NAFTA petition and had to jump through a ridiculous number of hoops (she did not "fit" the desired demographic for retraining). In the end her company had to have her name added to the list of recipients, and this DID take an act of congress, to get the retraining. She worked for a company that had been manufacturing in the US for over 100 years and NAFTA made it impossibly expensive to import the raw materials, so they file reorganization bankruptcy and the company is now manufacturing in India, Vietnam, and S. Korea and importing the finished product in to the US.
Republicans and Democrats outsource. This includes Obama and his recent free trade agreements. To counter this and support Americans and jobs, you should buy only Made in USA products. We can't complain about jobs if we continue to support manufacturing in other countries.
I could not agree more, the only problem is it is getting very hard to even find American products
Most production of any scale is being done by robotics and automaton
The labor cost for building here or overseas is a very small factor. We are just being sold out for other reasons besides “corporate survival” (as we are told). Is it greed? I think so? Apparently a lot of other people also think that
http://www.madeinusa.org/ http://made-in.us.com/ http://www.madeinusa.com/
most of my purchases are on the internet by googling the product name followed bt made in usa. I find just about everything. The problem is that the physical retail stores do not carry much made in usa.
I just booked mark those links thanks I will pass them on.
You should think about making a forum. It seems a lot of people might be interested in that
Thanks. I will soon. Keep spreading the word for American jobs and factories here.
If you decide to do that, will you come back here and give me the link?
Do you know how to get back here? If you don't I can tell you
This isn't a GOP-Democrat thing. Both parties are completely dominated by free trade neoliberals. That battle was lost long ago.
This is one issue where the best voice is actually a well known Republican, Pat Buchanan. His American Conservative website is great.
Yes,it's both parties. I'm glad to hear from someone who knows the term "neoliberal". If more people would research that term and understand just what the neoliberal agenda is, they would see that that is what has caused most of the problems we are protesting.
I checked out the Buchanan site. I didn't spend a lot of time because Initially it talked about the whites going to be a minority Blah Blah I am not really concerned with that stuff
That's the other side of Buchanan. He's an old school white nationalist.
There are actually quite a few good writers on there, but you have to look for them, and there are plenty of douchebags like Jack Hunter.
I'll check it out based on your opinion, Have have read some of your forums
Check this forum out this guy has insight
http://occupywallst.org/forum/america-freedom-to-fascism-by-aaron-russo/#comment-122954
I couldn't agree more. It seems like both parties are doing the same thing to America but in differnt ways.
They use the conservative/liveral crap to divide us. We see each other as the enemy and are distracted from seeing we both have the same enemy
Buchanan? ------ I'll check it out
Read Clyde Prestowitz' "The Betrayal of American Prosperity". He's a Republican and former Reagan administration trade official.
He destroys the myth that free trade is best for America as a whole and shows how our prosperity and national security have been sold out to the usual suspects.
Is there something on the webs I can read I am really trying to come up to speed
Here is something you might be interested in. It was huge eye opener for me
A time line of the great depression----it parallel today
http://www.amatecon.com/gd/gdtimeline.html
There was a government overthrow plot by some wall st guys in 1933
I'll see what I can come up with on the web, but educating yourself about all this is kind of a long process. I'm going to be posting must-read books in this thread:
http://occupywallst.org/forum/ows-reading-list/
Here's a must-read website:
http://pragcap.com/resources/understanding-modern-monetary-system
Here's another (pdf form):
http://moslereconomics.com/wp-content/powerpoints/7DIF.pdf
I appreciate the links and I will check them out next. I value your opinion based on what you have shown me. I would appreciate it if you took 2 minutes and checked out that time line and let me know what you think
It looks like a good study guide for reading about that era.
If you really want something to sink your teeth into, check out Michael Hudson's website. He's an expert on (among other things) the breakdown of the international monetary system during the depression. He has a lot to say about our current state of affairs, and how bankers are literally taking over and crushing us into debt peonage. Warning: not easy reading. He's incredible though if you can get into it.
Who' s Michael Hudson? were do you get this stuff,
You mention earlier about building a forum that contained links to valueable information. I hope you do that. It would be nice to have a library That we could link to
there are not enough jobs in the world for everyone to work
food production has been automated
Most of food production is being done by big business/corporations and many of them are being subsidized by the government
Thae small family farms are slowly being pushed out of existence
that is true
yet people are supposed to have jobs
It seems that many people somehow have arrived at the conclusion that sending jobs to China is beneficial (corporate media message?). It seems to me that we have been sold out and are in the process of becoming another poor nation. The corporations own and control it all
only on paper
Yeah Chinese paper (-:
It does seem as though this movement and the awareness that people are gaining is definetly going to make change for the good
Where do you get Republicans openly support moving jobs to China? Come on cite some articles and state some facts.
Just because you have a feeling that is the case, if you can't prove it, your chances of being incorrect are very high.
I don't have to prove it. And you know it is the truth
Do they openly support tax breaks for sending our jobs to China
What does that say to you?
Judging by what you've proven, no. Just because you want it to be so, doesn't make it so. Until you show how it's happening with evidence you're wrong.
If it was true the media would be all over it because is would make Republicans look bad, and the main stream media hold republicans accountable.
Denial serves you well
I reject the support of Obama's support for OWS. He is part of the problem 400k donated to Obama by Goldman Sacs
Does anybody have a problem w the republicans claiming to be the true patriots while giving OUR jobs to the Chinese?
I don't, I am getting used to their phony crap!
Duh!!
(-:
So you want to preserve jobs for the rich 20% that live in the developed world. So the new slogan should be "We are the 2-20%" So you're carefully thought out position is to be against the richest 1% and the poorest 80%? The 2-20% being rather conveniently the group that you are in.
Outsourcing does not help the poor in the 3rd world. People all over the world are protesting neoliberalism. Free trade benefits the1% only.
"Outsourcing does not help the poor in the 3rd world."
Yes it does. Western run factories in the 3rd world offer far better pay, working conditions and prospects for changing lives than the alternatives of local factories, subsistence farming, refuse gathering etc. Have you spoken to factory workers in developing countries? Do you have any idea of their lives before you, in your rich ivory tower decide that it's not good for them because it rather inconveniently doesn't help to make you slightly richer than your already fantastic wealth by global standards. Far from the 99%, you are the 10%, trying to ring-fence your wealth from the 90%, whilst getting some from the 1%.

I'll let you check it for your self. I'm all for greater wealth for poor people around the world. Free trade isn't doing it.
Is that what you thought I said
You got that imagination going big time tonight
In what way is that not what you said?
Dave we are still waiting
You tell me how that is what I said
I am sure there are more than me waiting to hear your spin
Thanks for the bump
No, its complicated issue based on regional economies. China economic policy similar to USA policy back in the 19th century to use tariffs as a way to industrialize. Its hypocritical to request China change its behavior when we done the same thing 120 years ago. GOP during 1892 put leafts in lunch pails indicating if you vote for Democratic that wants lower tariff bye bye job. Be careful with China
Tariffs are a legitimate policy tool, and, like any tool, has consequences of it's use. We want cheap products.unemployment and less manufacturing. More financial services. Got it.
We also want cheap food which encourages overeating, Obesity? Surprise?
We grow 6 times more corn per bushel than during 1950s we can always sell the food to India or make fuel out of it. Still, Japan has notoriety with non-tariff ways they used in the past to keep foreign products out. Trade wars are not pretty but most agree China is cheating the system, but I understand why they are doing it to speed up industrialization. South Korea and Japan did similar things China did in the past.
Some would say that they understand the tools and are using them effectively to accomplish their objectives. Where is the agreement that they have broken?
We have agreed to trade agreements that allow foreign workers to be exploited to produce cheap goods that we want to buy. Our Chamber of Commerce and others lobby the Chinese to keep labor costs down, albeit in inhuman ways.
That is why they can't afford to buy the goods they make. We choose to make glucose from our corn to make us fatter or ethanol with a subsidy to make a fuel more expensive than gasoline with less power per gallon, while keeping lower cost ethanol from Brazil which costs less per gallon including shipping, from entering our market. What I am saying is that out trade policies are inconsistent with our stated objectives and we are unwilling to resolve the conflicts.
Free Trade is good when all countries are equal, but I also realize farmers in Dakotas, and Montana benefit a lot from exports of grains, meat to China, while North Carolina, Ohio get hurt by manufacturing lost to China. Iowa, Minnesota, Indiana you could by political toast if you oppose ethanol subsidies regardless how it affects the global economy. I support barriers to ethanol to encourage domestic production and to stimulate domestic instructive to supply as supplement to the fuel supply. Most industrializing countries suppress wages as way to build capital to speed up industrialization. Have nothing against keeping foreign products if they as means to build local industry that can produce it. Better to have inefficient industry than have no industry at all. Chamber of Commerce is just looking for its members like the Unions do. Pragmatic and realist and know that trade policy is something have to tread with carefully and every country is different have to do things on a case by case basis.
Yes, but the parties are deliberately distorting facts, hiding things they are doing and making accusations that they know are false. Buying congress to implement your preferred policy that would not be supported by the voters, if they knew the truth is not the way the process should work.
It bothers me that our current government doesn’t see China as a potential threat to our national security
Most of our manufacturing capabilities are being transferred to China They now have a stealth fighter and weapons systems to take out aircraft carriers Yet there seems to be no reason to fear them. At least in the media I wonder if it is because they are a part of the Corporate Global Domination scheme
What concerns me is that our government doesn't see our economic health and power being wasted on excessive defense spending and on the corruption bought by special interests. We will accept dirty air, dirty water, unsafe transportation, foods, toys. When 75% of the population says raise taxes to what they were before the (unpaid for tax cuts, and the congress thumbs their noses at them, it becomes obvious who they are representing. Hint: It isn't us.
I agree 100%
A lot of questions are begging for answers
If you reply to this I will get back much later. I am going off line
Fight the good fight!
This is a more serious concern. With all our high tech companies there, it is so easy for them to steal our technology.
That's what I am saying. Yet when I mention things like that to people they act as though I am concerned over nothing
If you arent concerned about giving America and it's technology, manufacturing ability and power away what does concern you?
That why you spend money on the military and subsidize it with research into weapon system and spread the tax dollars all around the country. Still, we can tax food exports to China to give it back in spades. China cannot grow enough food to feed itself like we can.
Actually I am not real interested in feeding those that are taking our jobs. Maybe at a later date when we resolve some issues with corporate global dominance
I don't think a national security issue exists.
A war between China and the US would be an epic end of the world scenario.
As we are currently seeing in Afghanistan and Iraq, occupation is a difficult task. There isn't a big enough army that could land on American soil and prevail if we didn't allow it. A simple slash and burn policy would reduce their ability to feed their troops and keep them hydrated.
All out war in the national security sense is not something the US need fear.
I agree and it appears our Goverment has no fear of that
That makes wonder about corporate and government collusion selling us out for some other gain, that is not in our best interest
The spending we do in military contracts keeps "friends" and "donators" happy. Do we really need to spend over 50% of all revenues on military? Do we really have such a big military threat to protect ourselves from?
The founding fathers knew that a federal military was a real problem. Much like Rome did when they made laws keeping the military might outside the walls. They knew we would become servants of the military as we would continually have need to flex the muscle to prove its need. We have lost a great deal of this nation to this notion.
Could something like this happen to America

that is a lie. Obama put the head of GE on as one of his czars and GE is shipping jobs to china faster that you can say OWS.
I know what you are saying--BUT--Obama is just doing what both parties have be doing since the 1930. He is no better than the rest of them
Read this time line of the great depression it just take a minute or two to realize what is going on and how we got here. If you want your eyes opended up big time spend the 2 minutes
http://www.hyperhistory.com/online_n2/connections_n2/great_depression.html
Mine was a simple response to the post headline, which is just a lie. I know what has been going on, no need to tell me, but to pigeon hole the accusation only helps confirm the leftist, anti conservative/republican/TEA party aspect of the entire movement.
You have a very valid point. I used it as an attention getter not really think to smar ------sincerely thanks
Did you check out that time line link. Do your self a favor. It will be an eye opener
