Do any of you remember the film "The Producers" with Gene Wilder and Zero Mostel? They intended to make a flop play and over sold shares to women who Zero Mostel was sexing up to get their money. The play was supposed to be so bad that it would fail on the first night and they could make off with the profits from the investors. Unfortunately, the play, "Springtime for Hitler" was seen as a comedy and became a huge success.

After seeing the audience reaction to the play Gene Wilder, who was the accountant, began to have a breakdown. He kept mumbling to himself "No way out. No way out."

For some reason Wall Street reminds me of that movie.
