Forum Post: The power of music

Music has been an important element of any social movement. There is a song by James Mcmurtry called "We can't make here" that pretty much states, in a universally understandable way, the reasons this thing is happening anyway. Music binds and god knows this movement is in need of some sort of binding thread. Anger alone ain't gonna do it. Utilize every resource at hand to unify and peacefully force the bastards to change. Mcmurtry has made the song available for free at his website. I ain't affiliated at all with Mcmurtry, I've never even met the man, but he sure as hell nailed the reasons for the whole occupy movement in the first place.
