It is clear we can not depend on our political officials to do what is best for the country and for our world. Representatives were necessary in the days of old, however, technology allows us to do so much more now. Every voice should be heard and every vote counted. Bills should be simplified and riders never allowed. Also, another branch of government where the people of the US have veto and voting rights.
