Forum Post: The Path Forward: Our Critical Demand

Hi! I have just joined the movement. I am not well vast with all the dynamics in the USA. I am a South African, I live in a rural town called Nongoma here in South Africa. I wish to put forward the following suggestion: Firstly, the underlying challenge for me, is the chronic marginalization of the 99% in all matters by the Powers, and hence the difficulty in finding working solutions. Secondly, that this challenge- global economic slow down - has exposed so much pertaining the way we do things, the time for True Change has come. The governments, banks and corporates can no longer be the authors of our fate and destiny. We, the 99%, must be involved. I propose as the way forward, that we demand the establishment of an all inclusive, all stakeholder USA Global Recession Council. A structure that will have power and authority (not an just advisory) to deal with this challenge, its impact and exposed weaknesses. We must demand that we, the 99%, must chair such a structure ( and not the 1%). We must also demand a greater representation in it. AMANDLA!! AMANDLA!! AMANDLA!!
