Posted on Twitter:

"Bobby, #OWS occupier who handles security, says they're bringing large military tents to Zuccotti so people can sleep together for safety. The tents would have a sign-in at the door. There would be one for working groups and one for newcomers.

Longer term, many #OWS folks are looking to leave Zuccotti and occupy an indoor space. But it would still be an "occupation," not a rental."

So there you have it. Occupy Wall Street - that egalitarian, unified leaderless "movement" - has just capitulated and decided to get organized. Sounds like they're headed for their own "haves and have nots" with the big new tents they're going to set up. With rules and shit. One tent for the working group members (i.e., the Zuccotti elite), another for the newbies (the underclass). Three guesses which tent gets the heaters.

And one weekend in the snow was enough to knock some sense into their heads that Zuccotti is an indefensible mess.

Of course, nothing tops listening to some trustafarian girl telling a reporter about the "Ghetto" that has developed in one half of Zuccotti Park. Yeah, she actually used that word. Elitist bitch.

Ah, Twitter, the news source of choice for people who ... actually, I can't think of anyone.

"Capitulated and decided to get organized"

Yeah, that's how one capitulates, sure enough.

Um, the guy who posted it is quite sympathetic to your movement.

Yeah, I call it capitulation when just last week everyone was bouncing around like idiots and going "We don't NEED to be organized! " Well, now you are asking for military tents. LOL.

And sleeping in a military tent is practically joining the Army.

Is "We don't NEED to be organized!" an actual quote from "everyone"? I seem to remember a few people saying that more organization was what was required.
