The only way to affect change is to attack the 1% where they gain the influence to rig the game in their favor. It's time to stop being a lose coalition of ideas and notions. It's time to bring the movement into focus. It's time to quantify what it is that we, the 99% really want. It's time to organize and take back the government.
It's time to place a OWS representative into office. America has endured the legacy 2 party system long enough. It's time to demonstrate to the government that there truly is power within the 99% by placing our own within office. Do you want to shake the system to it's knees, do you want the elites and politicos to take notice.... Demonstrate the real power of the 99% through your votes. The 2 sided coin of american politics needs a kick in the ass. Let's organize, let's reshape the country together.
We need campaign finance reform. If OWS started demanding that corporate campaign donations be outlawed the majority of the US public would get behind it.
Good idea. Elect a third party today ! well, next year. But you need a third party, one that is not corrupt.

Now, I'm not saying that we open our own pirate party per se, but I use their movement as an example that a grassroots movement can start and become a player on the political stage. We need to simplify and solidify our message and OFFER SOLUTIONS to the american people under a new banner.
