Ode to the Corporation:
If I ever had to describe you Like a man, similar to me, There’s no hat that I’d ever tip for you, There’s no hand that I’d ever give.
For there is no compassion in your heart. You take, but never give. Externalize you’re costs you do, Which to the poor man you give.
Cursed one percent, Destroying all that’s fertile; From the working hands of everyone, To the forests, oh so vulnerable.
But you don’t care, do you? You don’t care at all. You harm the world for everyone; You destroy it, like a monster.
But you don’t care, do you? Not even for the children, Or for our children’s children, To you there all but people.
So I say, oh corporation, We will strike you down; For we’re the ninety nine percent, There’s no stopping us now!
Please post any opinions you have of the poem, I would really appreciate it.
Thank you!
Childish @ best. Ignorant @ worst. Corps. are merely business orgs. and they supply most of what we eat, wear and live in among many of the other goods and services we all use daily. Many of the 99% work for them as well. So, they aren't monsters, a portion of them are however out of line and abusing their privileges and power. Its this minority we are protesting.
Thanks for the comment! I'm grateful to know you took the time to read it.
