Does it seem that the real movement necessary in order to effect real change, would be to have all the various Occupy Movements to converge upon 1600 Pennsylvania/ DC?
This is where the banks were bailed out. This is where the decisions and policies are made that the movement is truly railing against.
Too many here still sing hosannas to Obama. Too many here still cling to the republicrats.
I offer taking the OWS movement in a slightly different direction. A direction that will force corporations to take OWS more seriously. Read here: http://occupywallst.org/forum/overlooked-ways-to-legitimately-attack-financial-b/
No since Obama is a Democrat and he is a liberal....I mean leftist, no, regressive-progressive. He's a Democrat, he's allowed. He works with the alphabet media to push our agenda and condition dumb Americans to not think for themselves. Faux News is the only one who is not totally complicit and they don't censor points of views from the other side so they have to be stopped. Obama works well with George Soros as he does his bidding and works well with us. So no there is no need to protest outside of the White House.
I hope to see the NYSE exchange floor occupied next summer. People should be preparing for that.
No because Wall Street is just as big of a problem as the the government. The Banks and Wall Street determine the value of our dollar and they are fucking miserable at making the value increase.
There is an Occupy in DC already as well.
Occupy DC and Oct6 2011 are already planning a convergence on the white house. the Occupy movement does not support Obama. Moreover, We are PROTESTING AGAINST HIM BECAUSE HE IS A CORPORATE PUPPET. Dems keep trying to hijack us and republicans keep repeating this crap that we support Obama. Please stop repeating this crap. honestly.
I would like to note though: I think it is a bad idea to converge in DC. DC is just for show, Wall Street is the real capital. Let's not reinforce the illusion that the US is a democracy. We should converge on Wall St.
Yea... but they are 3 blocks from the White House at McPherson Square. Lafayette Park is directly north of the White House but the protesters think Obama is on their side so they give him a break. Trust me on this OWS... Our Government has not been bought by Wall Street. Rather, our government offers its services to Wall Street. There's a big difference. It's way more common for Congress and the President to call Wall Street than vice versa. I'm in Government contracting and I tell you the truth... it's a pay to play game.
Just for kicks - Google this: "I noticed that you have given to uh, other colleagues on the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee"
I'm sure I'll get blocked by the thought police for this posting.
Both of you should read this article:

It's exactly what I've been saying for years - with a lot more intelligence and precision than I can.
Sadly some do think Obama is on their side. 2 parties, one master. It's funny that you mention that because a lot of members of congress see their portfolios grow and their money rise. It's the new form of legal insider trading. Obama does enough to make people think he's different, but he's still the same war monger that Bush was.
Look people! We have this all wrong. This is not about them. We are the real power (99%). 1% is nothing. It doesn't matter what they think or what they want. To hell with them. We are the real problem and it's in our heads. For some reason as mighty as we are, we seem to think we have to fight from a position of weakness. This is absurd and exactly why we're in this mess. We don't need to protest 1% of the people for change. It's up to us to make the change. Remember - this is a democracy and the land of the free. Majority rules. That's how you take back your country. Let those ass-wholes sleep outside.
FIGHT THE CAUSE - NOT THE SYMPTOM Read “Common Sense 3.1” at ( www.revolution2.osixs.org )
a swirling motion into the sewer pipe? Like the daily "movements" of most americans......which are composed of the same sort of material comprising most of the idea's from OWS.....
