YouTube has blocked the posting of ALL new Occupy videos. Good luck finding out what is really going on. Martial law is right around the corner.

There is a video called The Drone War Coming to a Town Near You; an interview with Judge Andrew Napolitano and Lew Rockwell. You need to watch that. I would put up the link, but the mods have a problem with the group that posted the link, so I will just say, go to you tube and the video is called The Drone War Coming to a Town Near You. It is about the new technology that the Houston police dept. is now implementing, and other cities will probably follow in order to keep law and order.

There may be legitamite law enforcement uses for the technology, but the potential for abuse with the technology is very great. If the Dea wants to use them to look for pot crops, that is a specific thing within the realm of their work. They should develop the information leading them where to look via regular methods first.

The firefighters who wanted to know where the hotspots were with the fires, nobody will object to it being used for weather related problems.

The problem every has is the spying, targeting of people and abuse. Think of this, if they had these drones when the regular planes were following OJ Simpson down the freeway, would they have hesitated to tase him if they had the chance? Would they have been tempted to tase him? The technology just cannot be in the hands of regular cops to use however they want to.

People are innocent till proven guilty, having weaponry on these drones means the weapons can be used before the guilt of the person has been established. That is the problem.

Why would they need the weapons to shoot people from above, unless they plan on doing that? There are other methods that can be used on the ground to apprehend someone.

If there is credible intelligence that someone has a nuclear dirty bomb, like a suitcase bomb in their car, and they have a drone following him, would they try to disable the car, endangering the lives of people if the person in the car sets off the bomb before they had reached their desired destination?

Yup ... Kinda crazy ... Where do they get money for these expensive toys ? They lay off teachers and close services but they can still buy crazy police stuff like drones and riot gear ... But I also think we have lost innocent till proving guilty ... Now if a police officer said you are guilty the judge says your guilty . They have incentive to find you guilty so they can make money. Police even have arrest quotas, ticket quotas camera tickets. Money for local state fed and corporations

That is the whole problem. If someone is presumed innocent til proven guilty, they could be dealt with after they are proven guilty. If armed drone is following them with weapons to use on them, somebody has already secretly decided their guilt and dispatched the drone to injure or kill them.

At least in the Wild West people were called out to a draw, they had a chance to defend themselves, with a drone, you have no chance. That's why it can become a police state.

Yup ... But even if they pick u up on the street you are still guilty and have to prove your innocent ... And If they have to shoot you or beat you to pick u up ... Oh well ....

At least you get a chance to say something with the cops who come to pick you up on the street. You can't say anything to a drone, it locks and fires on you. That's it.

Were they not informed that it was unlawful and to leave? You spoiled kids do not know what poverty or a police state is.
