A full unification is probably impossible, but an alliance is Necessary!
The alternative is to be played against each other by the corporate elite.
the original tea party, before being hijacked by republicans latching onto any conservative ideas with energy and before the theocrats entered it, was viewed as highly favorable in polls.
it was very libertarian and critical of crony capitalism.
i think the OWS that complains about capitalism will be largely ignored, but those that complain about crony capitalism can open up a good dialogue.
Sickmint you are exactly right :-)

You can't stage a 'revolution' with only half the population. If there is no agreement - the Tea Party will vote republican and you guys will vote democrat and nothing will change. You will cancel each-other out.
In reality politicians are neither pro-big-government or small-government. They believe in making themselves and their donor friends as wealthy as possible at the expense of all others.
End the corruption.
I think both movements would agree there is some problem with democracy in this country at the moment. Propose other voting systems to allow alternative parties a say. I think these 2 things are the most important, I'm pretty sure the Arab Spring protesters had a similar sort of agenda. Leave the larger agenda until later, start with the non-controversial stuff.
A third dude to vote for? Ever heard of moderates?
Sometimes the 'moderates' are the worst. The first time they tried to pass the bailout the crazy right-wingers and the crazy left-wingers voted against it, but those damn 'moderates' voted for it. Moderate should mean that your ideals are half-way between left and right but what it usually means is that you don't have ideals - apart from reelection of course.
Agreed...
Also, if you would be so kind, help "Occupy The Constitution" Push for an amendment defining speech as "not money" and allowing the regulation of cash in electoral politics.
The alliance should be only temporarily.
The original OWS, before being hijacked by Big Unions and the FAR Left Wing Socialists latching onto any naive useful idiots (look it up) with grandeur in their eyes was viewed as an entertaining sideshow. Now it's just like watching Nancy Pelosi and Van Jones on TV.
Don't kid yourselves about trying to be ANYTHING like the Tea Party
Exactly, and full unification is possible. Many more people will come to your side when you are proactive (for “new” Business & Government solutions), instead of reactive (against “old” Business & Government solutions), which is why what we most immediately need is a comprehensive “new” strategy that implements all our various socioeconomic demands at the same time, regardless of party, and although I'm all in favor of taking down today's ineffective and inefficient Top 10% Management System of Business & Government, there's only one way to do it – by fighting bankers as bankers ourselves; that is, using a Focused Direct Democracy organized according to our current Occupations & Generations. Consequently, I have posted a 1-page Summary of the Strategically Weighted Policies, Organizational Operating Structures, and Tactical Investment Procedures necessary to do this at:

because we need 100,000 “support clicks” at AmericansElect.org to support a Presidential Candidate -- such as any given political opportunist you'd like to draft -- in support of the above bank-focused platform.
Most importantly, remember, as cited in the first link, that as Bank Owner-Voters in your 1 of 48 "new" Business Investment Groups (or "new" Congressional Committees) you become the "new" Congress replacing the "old" Congress according to your current Occupation & Generation, called a Focused Direct Democracy.
Therefore, any Candidate (or Leader) therein, regardless of party, is a straw man, a puppet; it's the STRATEGY – the sequence of steps – that the people organize themselves under, in Military Internet Formation of their Individual Purchasing & Group Investment Power, that's important. In this, sequence is key.
Why? Because there are Natural Social Laws – in mathematical sequence – that are just like Natural Physical Laws, such as the Law of Gravity. You must follow those Natural Social Laws or the result will be Injustice, War, etc.
The FIRST step in Natural Social Law is to CONTROL the Banks as Bank Owner-Voters. If you do not, you will inevitably be UNJUSTLY EXPLOITED by the Top 10% Management Group of Business & Government who have a Legitimate Profit Motive, just like you, to do so.
Consequently, you have no choice but to become Candidates (or Leaders) yourselves as Bank Owner-Voters according to your current Occupation & Generation.
So please JOIN the 2nd link so we can make our support clicks at AmericansElect.org when called for, at exactly the right time, by an e-mail from that group, in support of the above the bank-focused platform. If so, then you will see and feel how your goals can be accomplished within the above strategy as a “new” Candidate (or Leader) of your current Occupation & Generation.
If we can get them to dialogue, then such a thing is possible. But from my experience, they are not accountable to reason.
Hey all, this is Areapolitik from The Jefferson Tree. If we want to see real reform The Tea Party should join hands and support OWS... I joined The Tea Party when it began but left once it showed that the radical right-wing extremist had taken control. Do not let any side take control of this movement. If you were FOR the Tea Party when it began, then saw the change take place, then you know what I am talking about. Personally I find fault with both political parties. Neither is doing the job they were elected for. They place corporate greed along with their own ahead of what is good for the country. The bottom line is, our political party system is broken. They are all puppets of the corporations who have taken America away from The People. So much needs to be done and yet nothing is being done. The fox is in charge of the hen house. As a centrist, I deplored partisan divide and seek to combine extreme views into workable solutions. The only way we will ever have a chance to take back America from today's greed motivated corporations is to give the power back to the people. That is why I support Occupy Wall Street. http://www.thejeffersontree.com/
