In order to draft a coherent policy now, we need to think about what we want that policy to achieve in the future. To me, it is simple. In the future, one of two things will be the case
1.) Everyone will have succeeded somehow and can afford to live comfortably, if not extravagantly. or 2.) There will always be a struggle by some to survive.
Please discuss
ok, well my vote goes for extinction then. GENERATION Z!
Are there any alternatives to these two scenarios?
If we don't use our goals to guide our policy making, it is like driving blindfolded, except the car contains 7 billion people.
Instead of separating workers by region, how about by age. the young work so the old can pursue their dreams. There will never be enough jobs to satisfy the demand in our current system, so an earlier retirement age could bring full employment to the whole planet
Work isn't bad. Work can be rewarding. No one is entitled to a certain comfort level, how ever hard work should and can be properly rewarded. There will always be some struggle, such is life, but it doesn't have to feed govt waste and corruption. No, not everyone will live extravagantly...but then not everyone even wants to.
Or we go extinct, which is also very possible

Im not ready to advocate for a resource based economy yet, there are many problems that the venus project does not address, in my opinion
