In the direction that most seem to want to go.
Get money out of politics
Yes and get off oil dependency, use solar, wind, hydro and thermo sources of energy.
Why aren't we getting off oil dependency in favor of safer, more economical green alternatives? Because the oil industry is allowed to spend billions of dollars on elections and lobbying, resulting in virtually all of our so-called "public representatives" being pro-oil. It all comes down to getting money out of politics.
So lets focus on this one idea and bring it about, all aboard.
Do you guys think it would be easier to develop the power to change things before we pick the things to change?
we have the power to change things, our government is for the people,by the people, and if we don't like the government we have change it. I know what your saying, easier said than done i.e. money in politics, But the people in OWS are pushing the ball in that direction. Go OWS "Power to the people"
Beating the living dogshit out of Frog?
In order to clarify OWS's 'raison d'etre', please watch The Excellent Documentary Film 'INSIDE JOB' :

Narrated by Matt Damon ... "It's a powerhouse of a documentary that will leave you both thunderstruck and boiling with rage."
'Inside Job' provides a comprehensive analysis of the global financial crisis of 2008, which at a cost over $20 trillion, caused millions of people to lose their jobs and homes in the worst recession since the Great Depression, and nearly resulted in a global financial collapse. Through exhaustive research and extensive interviews with key financial insiders, politicians, journalists, and academics, the film traces the rise of a rogue industry which has corrupted politics, regulation, and academia. It was made on location in the United States, Iceland, England, France, Singapore, and China.
