Forum Post: The movement is stagnant.

The movement is stagnating and winter is nor far away. The movement had momentum but without escalation it will not accomplish anything of significance. We tried passive protest and it didn't work. Nonviolence will not be enough.

But I think things have to get worse before people commit to this course.

Just my pessimistic predictions.

loose hope. Until you have nonradical ideas you will get no where.

some of your ideas will turn the country into ruins.

You know, I really think it would be a good idea to figure out a way to deal with people like this OP, who is not a hater, but trying to be realistic. IT's a valid question, and pragmatism always has a place in any revolution.

Don't lose hope. It will take at least a year to coalesce into a well-defined set of values. Many people are interested, but still confused. As long as some protesters tough it out we will keep the public's attention and draw in more people.

The movement seems to be stagnating in the streets, but has increased activity elsewhere.

i agree, we need to break down these barricades and sit down where we want to...we need to take the streets and shut down traffic...don't attack police, just tear down the pens they keep us in.

You do know that if you are struck by a car while walking the culpability is on the j walker. I would love to have a steam roller.
