Someone here has no apparent knowledge of Gandhi or MLK. They were the forerunners of the way of non-violent action to obtain the rights that we are all born with. It's self evident. Some little diddy in the US constitution says "we were all created equal with certain unalienable rights...." Those protestors are demanding their right to freedom of speech and the right to assemble in a public place, and let it be known they will not be alienated from those rights. They are not going anywhere unless New York wants to fan the flame of the American Soul. We're ready, and we will be standing, sitting, and occupying all over America very shortly. We still love this country enough to stand for the truth about what it really is. It is the time NOW.

I thought the movement was a jobs program for New York's unionized police force.

It's a city park, not a campground for unemployed hippies. The park rules (drafted long ago before this protest) are clear about prohibited activities. Police are kicking the miscreants out in the morning. Good riddance. No one is above the law.

And these children that you spit on as they try to change thier world are immune to your obfuscation..they are quite aware of the world structure around them and are trying to change it for the better..dont judge by the drums and the clothes..it is the content of thier hearts that make them noble...i wud be there with them if i could..they are not criminals or miscreants..only a fascist wud think or say that..JESUS WUD HANG WITH THEM!

They can't change the world by sitting on their asses. If you want to see young people changing their world, go to China or India where students are studying their asses off to get advanced degrees in engineering and science (rather than "political science," "art history," "business administration," "English"). This is generation entitlement, where kids think they are entitled to a cushy job just because they graduate from a college with a liberal arts degree. Sorry, those days are over. The competition is global, and no one is going to reward you for sitting on your asses smoking weed.
