People are surprised that the GOP is so in love with Russia all of a sudden, but they shouldn't be. There was a time when Russia was considered a communist country, where "the state" owned everything, but that has changed it is an oligarchy now, and the Republicans love rich people, and Putin is the richest of them all. Naturally the GOP and the Kremlin have formed an alliance.

No one should be surprised that the 99% of the GOP elected to office are kindred spirits of Russian Suppression of their population. The republicans in office have been fighting since before the civil war to enslave everyone they want to to support their industries/wealth/personal power!

It's almost like you are starting to realize that step one of the revolution is to kill the GOP.

Trump goes way back with "Russians" A few things I remember from the 80s when I worked as a messenger and also as an operative for private investigators in those days: I often was sent to Trump Tower to do pick ups.I never heard any conversations in English taking place in the lobby there-only in Russian or Hebrew. There is no way anyone familiar with Trump Tower back then could fail to notice apparent human trafficking taking place in the building,or remain unaware of the illegal gambling there. Trump Tower was known to everyone as a hangout of the "Russian" mob.It was well known that "Russian" mobsters owned apartments there, and that Trump became friends with them and was always surrounded by wealthy "Russians" who were mobsters or mob associates. The courier company I worked for then never sent me to Trump Tower to deliver-only pick up.At a certain point, the company stopped sending anyone there for any reason. There are a number of possible explanations for this.I can't really say what I think caused my company and many others to stop sending messengers to the building, but I will say that it's related to concerns people had about the safety of their employees after a series of unexplained events at Trump Tower which occurred in 1987-88. The PI I worked for also instructed me strictly to never enter the lobby of Trump Tower unaccompanied as of August of 1987. I'm pretty sure Trump was,or is,a victim of the sort of confidence scam of which "Russian" mobsters are the world's most absolute champions. As for the GOP,their donors almost certainly have been sobbing and moaning relentlessly over the Russia sanctions policy.Certainly the heads of the GOP know all about the rampant money laundering in the high end RE business, and Trump is the very worst example of this type of crook. Russia wants to "make a deal" with various and sundry GOP donors that's reported to be worth 2 trillion dollars. It seems very likely that this deal will somehow happen even though Western Banks are opposed to it-a remarkable occurrence! As usual with the GOP,a comfortable and easy life for oil companies is among the top priorities. We should look on the bright side of this horrifying predicament. There is no way Trump will be a 2 term president. He may somehow manage to not complete one term. There is more to say on the subject of the nature of Trump's activities since the late 1970s.Much of it has been documented in the press, and more will be revealed. I myself never thought Trump would be elected because there is so much already known about his murky background and shady business dealings.Unfortunately, millions of voters believed that the persona invented by Trump for his television program was actually a real person and they apparently failed to perform due diligence.Had they done so,those who didn't want to vote for Mrs.Clinton could have, would have and should have stayed home on election day,or voted for anyone other than Trump, who is so stupid-or dishonest-he was the owner of a casino that went bankrupt. "And so on..."
