Yeah, no crap. Why should this surprise you? Why would it ever be different? Governments have always been run by the rich and powerful. And if the government is taken over in a revolution then the revolutionaries just become the new elite, and they are usually worse than what came before. How many times have we seen this in history?
So why then are you making demands to this organization? Why do you think more regulation or taxes will solve the problems you see? If you just want a bunch of favors from the government for people like you or a class of people that you favor, how are you any better than the evil corporations you denounce?
True Democracy is real Democracy. None of this democrat or republican half-truths. Free market, and when i say that i mean no monopolization, or in Americas case racketeering, can save us. WE need to change this for good, because no one else will, or for that matter, ever will.
yeah i hear you. I guess I don't get the movement. I've been reading thread after thread trying to figure it out... and all I see is this is a group of focused frustraiton. But i don't get the idea of what is wanted. Change is wanted. but what does that mean? I mean i see people in this Occupy movement who can't even agree if they should use wordpress or a wiki. Beyond that it escalates to arguments over everything.
They are not the unions buy politicians too
Yes. And implicit in the existence of a union is the right to forcefully exclude non-union members from certain fields of employment. So they are just as bad as wall St. They use the force of government to get privileges that others do not enjoy.
Right check out why I no longer occupy
