Freedom to Creat Act would allow a 50% -100% loan forgiveness for all student loans. Think about it. If you removed the burden of student loans from thousands of American students who are struggling trying to make ends meet and having to contemplate their next job to pay off their bills you allow a huge segment of the population the creative license to build and develop innovative ideas and technology. The freedom to create would put our country forward and keep us competitive in the world market. It's this very luxury that the wealthy have... the Freedom to Create! it's the model of Hedge Funds, "we pay you to create!" Removing the burden of student loans directly targets the population most capable of turning our economy around. It gets the youth back to work, the business of buliding careers, not just filling a job post. They are more likely to take the leep to start their own business, go in partnership with other organization, enhance existing businesses, continue commitments to services and in the short term--> it feeds money back into the economy right away. Right now, most people can't even afford to pay their loans and have fallen into default, foreberance and extended deferrments. Yet the psychological imprisonment of "I owe $$$, still persists and keeps students from maximizing their potential. I owe $100K in students loans as a striving medical student and although my passion is in Refugee Health, there is no way I will be able to work in this capacity and still provide a good living for myself and my family. My brother is a practicing GP with a wife and 3 children and he has been unable to purchase his first house despite practicing for 5years because of his student loans. If he chooses a loan forgiveness program, he must move out of state away from his family. What kind of justice is that? The burden of student loans has changed the paradigm of what it means to seek higher education and the government's stance of student loans does not make it attractive to get a college education anymore. individuals are less inclined to do what makes them happy, rather doing what pays the bills which is short sighted for us as Americans and the worst gift to bestow on this generation. The younger generation are the biggest consumers, young families need a boost so they can see themselves purchasing homes. Young graduates would be more invested in their trade if they didn't feel desperate coming out of college. Remove the student loan burden means putting money back into the system and encouraging dream building. Removing the student loan debt is America's Jubalee for its Young Generation. Removing the student loan debt would show a true commitment to valuing the profitability of higher education. Also, diversifying current loan forgiveness programs with a better student loan program that has practical service opportunities and that does not necessarily separate families, but bring them together and supports the need to serve would be a beautiful direction for America and movement I would love to back.

These are just my thought, but I would love to galvanize around this movement!
