To quickly learn the causes of the financial crisis of 2008 and the other crises of the last 30 years watch “Inside Job”, the 2010 Academy Award winning documentary. Director Charles Ferguson quickly and efficiently explains Wall Street and its relationship to our elected officials and how this lead to our current financial situation. In one hundred and nine minutes you will gain a good understanding to the causes of our financial problems and how things have only gotten worse not better. This film could be the poster child for Occupy Wall Street and should be required viewing for all participants and supporters of the movement.

Working as a high-class NY prostitute is another fast-track.

Inside Job.

I'll have to put that on my viewing list.

Do I also need to research Charles Ferguson?

The Academy Awards judges?

Read Too Big to Fail, All the Devils are Here, and The Big Short.

Wow. How cool is that. But you know, honestly? I didn't like economics all that much . . .

Can I just stick with the movie? I mean, that looks like a lot of homework . . .

Yes, I know. Reading takes time. There were some good PBS specials on the financial crisis as well. I think it was the Frontline series, you may be able to access online or from Netflix.

yes it does. Reading does take time.

And I have a bit of studying I need to do as it is.

Not to mention starting fires on twitter . . .

I saw that - too funny! Would love to see some Repelican fall out of his chair when that comes across! Can you post that link here? I lost it.

I'm tempted to put links up to what I've posted on my profile. I tend to push the envelope a bit, linguistically, and you know - if people have questions all they have to do is read with their brain.

It is plain English . . .

not that there isn't an element of risk involved but there always is with something like this.
