The problem with our economy is the continued increases to already over priced transportation fuel and the negative effect it has on our discretional income to spend on the multitude of other products and services vying for our cash. But the free market has to earn our business the oil industry does not. The solution to all of this is really quite simple and very inexpensive and will result in a very competitive and robust economy and I will explain why in very easy to understand terms. The American automotive fuel supply market is more than six hundred billion dollars annually paid to a supply industry that employs maybe a couple hundred thousand people. This industry by definition is a monopoly even though our Government will provide documentation that insists otherwise, it is easy to discover that everything (99.5%) in America used for transportation that rolls, floats, or flies is fueled by a crude oil derived fuel. This is a fact! If our economy and the American way is to survive and continue to grow we must have competitive market in the automotive transportation fuel industry and the answer to that is the Natural Gas powered auto. Building distributing and converting recent models in large quantities to the American people will create the Natural gas automotive fuel market that will quickly ( within five years) create more than twenty five million jobs in America alone, Canada and Mexico will also realize a huge influx of economic stimulus. All of this growth and the trillions of dollars of investments will be paid for by the product which we all purchase in a free competitive market, Natural Gas! You see NG is available in literally millions of places throughout the United States, Canada, and Mexico. The U.S. alone has 38 states in the lower 48 with sustainable quantities of Natural gas, it is a product that virtually anyone could deal in the business of recovery, distribution, transport, and delivery. It is a product that cannot pollute our air, water, or soil. It cannot spill! It needs no refining it virtually needs no EPA regulation. It emits up to 70% fewer emissions than comparable gasoline, or diesel powered engines and has no toxic poisons. Gasoline and diesel have more than 20 toxic poisons in there emissions, it kills things! This is our solution to eliminate the economic oppression inflicted by artificially inflated gasoline prices, price gouging, price fixing and job killing transportation control by a corrupt and illegal industry. The millions of jobs that would be created starts with the installation of temporary Natural gas refueling pumps in all Automotive dealerships so as to assure new customers that wherever they are, in America; if there is an Auto dealership they can get there auto refueled. And of course with today’s technology of wireless communications and satellites a complete list of all new independently owed and operated fuel suppliers would be indexed as soon as they become operational. Customer and supplier could easily find each other through communication technology. Is it hard for anyone to imagine the amount of jobs that would be created in every area of our economy? And all of it paid for by our daily use of a commodity that is cheaper, cleaner, more abundant, domestically available, and frees us of our foreign dependence and returns the revenue to the American economy! The resulting decline in gasoline consumption will cause a huge glut in the oil industry which will force the price of all other crude based fuels (gasoline, diesel, and jet fuel) to fall and deal with a true free market. This solution really does bring liberty and Justice to all and allows Americans to decide the cost they are willing to pay for there transportation needs rather than a corrupt monopoly dictating them.
this is not a solution, its nonsense. we need all electric vehicles.
This isn't THE problem, but a symptom/factor. THE problem are gov't contractors which pay the top people in those companies high salaries, while the people who actually do the work receive comparatively little and usually no benefitss. If the gov't takes these jobs in house, they remove the expensive bosses from the payroll and subsequently reduce gov't expenditures and taxes.
