We are all here today giving our thoughts. And it reminds me of all the tweets and blogs going on before and during the movement in Egypt. I think were on the right track. I think something really really big is going to happen. All you folks should pat yourselves on the back. This is history in the making.
I'm an Egyptian girl and was involved in the protests in Cairo and understand completely what you are going through. We aren't there yet and still continue to protest our demands to the Military Council. a couple of days ago they agreed to most, but we're still demanding stronger commitment on paper. We aren't there yet, but in the past few months we are further ahead than we could've ever dreamed before, under Mubarak's regime. Labor workers are getting higher salaries, little more job openings and better yet we know our rights and how to demand it. Many Egyptians like me wish they're able to come to New York and support you all with any way we can. Stay strong and please keep it peaceful (That's your power) God bless you and America.
We can not live on $7.25 and hour if a child can not live on these wages what makes people think grown men and women can .

Check out what has really happened in Egypt since the so-called revolution. Egypt was and continues to be ruled by the military. The only real change that happened is that Mubarak, a titular head of a military state, was ousted. Jeezzz.... the ignorance on this site is killing me. (Sorry Toddtjs, I know you mean well)
Are you going to follow me around tonight criticizing every thing I log in? Im meaning to express my adulation to the fact that whatever happened just a few months ago in a far off land and what was being said to one another is now being expressed here in our country. I'm aware of what is going on in Egypt. They have more of a chance now of getting there act together then they would have under him. All they want is freedom and if they keep it up it just may come.
Exactly. If you want actual regime change, you have to go the Libyan route. Egypt received a change in leadership, not a change of government. That's not a revolution. Libya was an actual revolution.
Our future depends on you all.If this generation of youth does not demand change people will do us any type of way .Its about time that people seen that people are more than a worker .We are human beings and we all deserve mutual respect .
I am so excited for you guys . I bet its so much fun .
