I tend to agree with them. They are rich, but most earned it. Discuss.
I come from a family of multi- millionaires. That is, multiple family members have made a lot of dough. None of them have gotten rich on the backs of others: Their employees are doing just fine too. Millionaires? No. 1%ers? Yes.

Agreed. Our family was not rich. Yet me and all of my siblings each make over 200k a year. Coincidence? I think not. Our parents instilled a good work ethic into us and banned TV.
I see your story. Mine is similar.
Tax them , until they are not rich anymore and give the money to the poor. great discussion -- yes
If you rob from the rich to give to the poor, you take away the incentive to make money. Then, even the naturally ambitious would become lazy like the poor, to society's detriment.

That's because you guys don't make the distinction. You simply say the 1%. You simply want to raise the taxes on all the 1%. My sister and husband stay up 36 hours straight working in a hospital as doctors. Do they deserve all this "greed" rhetoric against them?

You can see it in the entitlement programs. No incentive to work or create.
Yes that's what i want- no incentive to make and horde money--
the reason to work is to support yourself and your family. greed would be taxed out of existence
With no incentive where is the reason to innovate? Society would stagnate more than it currently is.
Just make enough for a roof and food to support your family huh? Equal wages for everyone. Nice system, Commie.
Also, I doubt you would want that if you had hope. You're probably just a failure and bitter, and just want to bring everyone else down to your level. An understandable instinct, but disagreeable.
I won't respond to him- but by answering his message- this goes to the top of the page so others can read his response -- enjoy
Will you be the one to decide how much is enough? If you live in the midwest, for instance, what would be considered "fair" probably would not get you a single family home in California.
Who has to decide? Get rid of the problems we have and then set the supply and demand loose. Let the market decide.
