Without all those heros we couldn't be milling around in our Obamavilles today!
I go to the VA. I see the Price that is still being paid.
The Military Follow the Orders of the Commander in Chief. We the PEOPLE should ORDER the President to STAND DOWN on Military Adventures and order all non-essential personnel back to the USA. One-Half need to leave Everywhere, now.
We're trying to keep it the greatest country in history.

you are welcome.
Wars would end if all people who were to be drafted were given a copy of Rogue State by William Blum to read before going to boot camp. The cry of Hell No We Won't Go would echo thru the land.
Most people go into the military not because they want to kill people but because it is a good job and likely better than the work they would do as a civilian.
I did not mean to infer that that people sign up because they have a desire to kill people. Many go for the salary, the training they receive that is applicable to different job areas when they get out (ie. pilots, communications etc.), and benefits (help getting mortgages, college funds for their children etc.).
The reality of what they are called to do while they are at war is very awful. If they read the horrible things governments plan, plot and carry out they would not want to be part of going to war. If someone comes here and you have to fight to protect the soil you live on, it is one thing, but to go to other countries for political reasons is morally contemptible.
Ummm, lisa. There is no draft anymore. All volunteer.
They would re-think their decisions if they developed a better understanding of our foreign policies and our past experience in implementing them.
Book by a 9-11 truther that was endorsed by Bin Laden. Thanks. I'll pass.
Osama endorsed it because most Americans have no idea what our government has been involved in with regard to other countries. He thought people would understand why he hated America and America was like a deer in the headlights knowing nothing.
It is very easy to read and very informational showing you what our govt. has done not only in other countries, but also here in this country which will shock and upset you, becaues you would never think your govt. was even capable of such things, much less that they would carry it out.
Does he cite references and provide documentation and sources for the book? If so, I'll look into it.
Yes, chapter by chapter the references are there.
K. Thanks.
