Protesters be proud and film film film. Do not stop filming!
Get lawyers and eviscerate, NYPD non-violently.
He was awesome!
Uncommon courage, we need a lot more like him.
So do the police.
I'm Proud of Him, there are always free-speeches americans who won't shut up :

Thanks a lot...
oh definitely -- thank you for your service and for your stand on American soil, our soil as you pointed out
The most fervent defense of any country, comes when it has to protect its own citizens from foreign enemies, on its own soil. Those loyal not to America have infiltrated our country and will inevitably encounter the same wrath others before them have. Americans homogenize rapidly against a common enemy.
frankly i worry more about apathy and cynicism in my own country
your "own" country?
There are two corps protecting the governement :
1°) Army to defend against external dangers.
2°) Police to defend against internal dangers
A soldier cannot be a policeman in the same time because that's allowed to have one section defending against the other. If a uprising begins in one of the corp the second can counter. Divide to keep power...
Some of the most threatening external dangers are living inside America like parasites in a host. Combining both corps is the method of eradicating those loyal to another nation. Patriots are more than willing to conjoin forces. I anticipate more of this.
Thank you for your response.
No problem, there are also exception like repulican guards...
Personal security firms also.
Yep, i m agree with you
Wow, you really gotta admire the police restraint.
You could see the embarrasment in their faces!
Well it can be humiliating to be chastised for something you did not personally do. More, it was obvious to them that the gentleman (or gentle giant) was probably high whether it be on testosterone, rage, deeply ingrained frustration, or even crack.
I'll bet that uniform felt mighty heavy right then.
I was surprised with the lack of officers with military experience. There was just the one officer, who said he was in Iraq.
These are trying situations where those with the most tolerance and experience are being tested as never before.
Those officers looked like kids.
Scared too.
They could have cuffed him.
I saw little interest in that plan.
I agree.
Very trying times.
The cops are just doing overtime... NY is a dangerous place, and let's face it, OWS is prime target for every terrorist out there.
Dialogue needs to happen soon. I believe.
These people look confused and bewildered. Cop and citizen alike.
There will be no dialogue with the police. They are there at the behest of the mayor and charged with policing and enforcing the law. In fact, they are not permitted to enter into any meaningful dialogue.
All that frustration and mulling about with no actual plan or agenda, must be tiring and exhaustive for all involved.
Police are not so equipped for such an extended siege. It must be expensive and difficult for all involved.
Well, it's strength of force with the intent of reduced violence and it is expensive.
Too well put.
Police and people alike have a common interest in this cause. It seems like this is all money that could be spent prosecuting corrupt bankers and politicians. That is bound to be spendy.
Trying times for all abound.
